Frozen Moment: Yuki's POV
It was true what people say about love and hate being separated by a fine line. The first time those fiery red eyes turned to look at me and uttered the words, I hate you, my world froze. Never before had anyone look at me with such burning intensity, determination and passion. The walls I have built around myself to keep others at arm length were invisible to him, he could see the true me. The selfish person within. He said the very words I wish to say to myself.
At that moment, I fell for him, Kyo, the cat, the enemy, the worthless boy no one was suppose to love. Knowing Kyo, he never suspected, never realised what profound emotion those three little words brought. I felt seen, I felt alive.
Sometimes I wished he knew…that baka neko.
