Title: Anything
Summary: Julie and Kouyou bond. It's kind of the adventures of dumb and dumber, and that's how they like it.
Notes: Written to fill a request for Julie/Kouyou, but it ended up as more of a rad bromance.
Julie looked up from his food and stared across the table at Kouyou. They were the only ones in the kitchen, the rest of the family out or busy elsewhere around the house.
"You can't be serious," he announced.
"I can!" Kouyou's head snapped up and he slammed both fists onto the table, making the tableware rattle. "I can be the most serious!"
"Come on," Julie drawled. "You can't believe something that stupid. It's one thing to put on an act..."
"An act? I'm one hundred thousand per cent genuine!"
"Kouyou, please. That can't be for real."
Kouyou crunched a chopstick in half in his passion. "Even when I'm lying, I won't represent myself as anything but sincere!"
Like a perfect cross between the World's Best Mum and an axe-murderer, Adelheid appeared at the kitchen door. "What are you two fighting about?"
"Anything!" Kouyou said promptly, and Julie began to snicker and could not stop. The guy actually got it.
"Anything," he confirmed, slumped on the table.
Adelheid made sure there was no damage to the kitchen and left, repeating to herself that she really did love her family.
Kouyou eyed Julie and went back to finishing up his food, still looking watchful eye of Julie's enraptured grin.
"You are so entertaining," Julie said.
"I can give better compliments than you. Gorgeous," Kouyou shot back, and finished up with an air of victory as Julie dissolved again into helpless laughter.
