Light is streaming through my window onto my pale face. Dreading the moment when my mother came in to wake me up to go to school. The one place where I can't hide behind my father. At least Harry will be there. I don't know what I would do without him. Thank Merlin Ron hasn't gotten to him like he did with Hermione. She hasn't spoken to me all summer. She only speaks to me when my Fathers around. I'm going to miss him. I wish Fred and George were here, they would know what to do.
Knock, knock. "Ginny! Get up child!" Molly yelled, slamming the door with her fist.
"Here goes." Ginny thought to herself. She got dressed and went downstairs to eat breakfast. No one noticed her like always except for her father.
"Hey Gin bug, are you ready for school?" Arthur asked, biting into a piece of toast.
"I guess." She sat down next to him and took a sip of orange juice that Molly poured for her.
"Cheer up; we'll see each other during winter break." He said putting his arm over hers comfortingly. His words made her smile and some of her fear went away. As she was finishing her breakfast, she realized that someone was missing.
"Where's Ron?" She said getting up to wash her plate.
Molly was clearing off the table and answered with a sigh, "He's picking up Harry."
"Harry's coming with us?" She said with a smile. Ginny didn't even wait for an answer as she bolted out the door to wait for Harry. A few minutes later, she saw Harry and Ron flying down from brooms. She ran towards him and leaped into his arms, a huge smile breaking onto both there faces. Harry put her back onto the ground, still not letting go, and kissed her so passionately that Ginny's world spun around and around for what felt like an eternity. Finally, Ron pulled her off of him.
"Okay, that's enough. Don't do that in front of me, let alone ever. It's gross." Ron said. What he was really saying, Ginny knew, was 'Stop! It's not fair that you get to have someone who loves you because I'm too much of a chicken shit to ask Hermione.' The two of them laughed and everyone got ready to go to school.
