AN: Another big THANK YOU to sammygirl1963 for convincing me that I should post this "immediatly", so here goes. Don't forget to let me know what you think.

Disclaimer: I still have yet to own anything of Kripkes, the CW, or Warner Bros... now, if they would like to share, the more than welcome to call (don't worry, I'm not holding my breath). ;)

I've been called paranoid more times than I have cars in my auto salvage, but that's ok, it's kept me alive this long; a lot longer than the average life expectancy of a hunter. So, when Ellen comes staggering in through the back side of my yard, after making her way from a burnt out Roadhouse, I tried to ignore that little tick I get at the back of my head, after all, she could have hitched a ride then doubled back instead of using the front door like everyone else. When she questioned me about the holy water before the whisky, well not too many people want to drink the stuff anyway, so it was no concern to me; she drank it didn't she? Watching her tell me and John's boys about going out for pretzels and Ash calling to tell her to look in the safe, well I must admit I got a little suspicious. After all, Ash called Dean and told him to get there fast that he found something and he'd wait for us; again, it can be explained away, we were a ways off and weren't going to make it in time. But I couldn't help but notice how her eyes shifted just a little when talking about how a lot of good hunters died, then again, she did just lose a lot of friends; it's only natural to want to look away when your showing your emotions like that. The map though, sure it had been in the safe, but there wasn't any smoke of any kind on it, or on her. If the safe was in the basement, she would have had to go through the rubble. Hell, Dean and I only stood at the top trying to find any clues and we still reeked of burning wood and other things best not mentioned. How did she keep it so clean and tidy when she herself had to make that long haul to my place? I know it was in her pocket, but would it really have protected it that much, there wasn't even a smudge! Jesus, don't get me started on what Sam did to that kid Jake. When he put seven slugs into the guy, she just looked at Sam as if he met her expectations, admired him even; ok, Dean and I both wanted to put a couple of slugs into Jake, but for Sam to do it, well, it was a lot harder for us to take. Not Ellen though, she didn't have a problem with it; then again, she doesn't seem to have a problem with a lot of things anymore. After Gordon Walker tried to kill Sam, Dean told me he confronted Ellen about it and she said that they "might be a lot of things, but we're loyal." Always made me wonder… loyal to who? I've known Bill and Ellen for years, hell they asked me to come over and help put protection sigils on Jo's crib after she was born, but that was many years ago, and Ellen's right, we're in the middle of a war. I can't help but wonder though if the sides have already been chosen and we don't have a say so anymore.

AN: Ok... what did you think? C'mon, I can keep a secret. ;)
