Prologue

The moon rose high into the sky, casting shadows on the peacful earth below. Stars twinkled in the sky, and a soft, windy breeze blew through the forest.

A small, lithe figure padded through the dew-slicken grass, dissapearing behind a clump of trees before abruplty coming to a halt.

Breezestar stared up at the form of a small, female cat.

The light of the full mone shone apon her, turning her white fur to a brilliant silver, transforming her orange spots into patches of gold. Her two, bright blue eyes gleamed through the darknes, and for a moment, the cat seemed to purr.

"Welcome Breezestar. I have been waiting for you. There is something urgent. A matter that we need to discuss, quickly," The female cat jumped down from her high perch from the rock and pressed her face close up against Breezestar's "In private."

Breezestar sat down and positioned herself in a comfortable spot, while she shuffled her paws nervously. Her eyes were cast down to the earth, betraying her fear. "Splotchheart, you said you had a prophecy you wanted to share with me that is urgent... Mind explaining?"

Splotchheart bowed her head in silence, closing her eyes as she took a deep breath. Her tail swished nervously from side to side. She fidgeted.

"I'm unsure... i've received no signs of danger so far from any of the other clans. It seems like whatever danger that will come will either be strange and new, or completely heard of... to us anyways.."

Breezestar nodded her head for a breif moment. "Will you mind repeating the exact prophecy SpiritClan sent you?"

"A danger will come,

the clans will fall.

Unless you can find the true warrior within you

and overcome your differences

to work together

so that good may prevail

and evil will fall

the wicked have been cast forth

be aware

for not all is the same

there is a traitor among you

who will work with the wicked

and cast down all those who oppose him

and stand in the way of their path

until true good can arise,

one who is given power of the stars

then will you be free."
