It all happened so fast, they were driving home… And then… Nothing. There was nothing.
The darkness took over their vision before they even knew what had hit them. Spencer was the first to awaken, her vision blurred at first but soon cleared, she wished that it hadn't. There was fire and so much blood. There was an awful pain her stomach but she hurt too much to look down to focus on it. Then she caught sight of Hanna, who was staring right back at her. Was she dead? Then she blinked slowly, her voice a soft rasp, she wasn't dead.
"Spencer…?" Was all that she said before she reached for the brunettes hand and grasped it tight.
They were on their sides, lying next to each other in the inside and on the cars roof, as it had been flipped upside down. Spencer looked down to see a large piece of metal lodged through Hanna's ribs that went all the way through her body, but the piece of metal didn't seem to end as her eyes followed its path to the source… Then she found the reason for her own pain… It had gone through her as well. She looked back up to Hanna who had also realised their inevitable fate that was awaiting them. They didn't say anything, just let silent tears slip down their faces.
"I'm dying Hanna." Spencer finally whispered to her.
"I know… So am I." Hanna said back in conformation and grasped her hand tighter.
There was nothing they could do but just, let their bodies slowly fail. But Hanna knew that she wanted to go knowing that Spencer knew she loved her.
Hanna slowly brought the Spencers hand up and kissed each knuckle. "Remember when we first met?" She whispered is a raspy voice
Spencer smiled lightly, a painful smile, but still filled with so much love "yes..."
They both later there reminiscing on th past times with Emily, Alison and Aria.. How would they react?
A few tears made their way down Hanna's face "I love you so much Spencer, I want you to know that" just as she said that she let out a violent cough, her lungs started filling with blood
"Hanna... Oh god I love you too, more than you'll ever know"
Hanna made eye contact with her, and even though she was taking her final breaths her eyes were filled with so much love and for just a split second everything seemed okay... but her chest stilled and her eyes glazed over.
Spencer let out a choked sob as the love of her life was no longer with her. Soon enough though the same happened to her everything was silent.. The bodies of the two lovers lay in the he ruble
They would meet again. But this time in the light as they took each other's hand silently and walked into it.
