I wrote this after I watched the movie, a must see for movie lovers, especially if you love English actors. I'm surprised there isn't more fanfics about the movie, but I think I might write a few.

Such a lighthearted soul
Many a days, my thoughts, my dreams, I elaborated them to her
A curious being she was with her canine companion
How she always seemed to find me around, even in the loneliest corners of the library
Her kind words, soft smile, the grace of her step, I still remember them all
My first kiss, my first love, my first everything
I can still smell the sweetness of her perfume, as fresh as roses
I never could make it on time to our little rendezvous, though she always waited and greeted me with a sweet kiss
I wish she could see me now, how much I've grown
But I'm not alone, my friend Watson and I solve mysterious to pass the time
But my Elizabeth, you're always in my thoughts and always in my dreams
I'll be put to ease one of these days, though my mind and body just keep living
My Elizabeth, my first and last love, I carry you with me always
In the hat you given to me long ago, is the hope, of a new beginning
A beginning and a reminder, to never forget what's important
I don't seek revenge or look for a way to inflame my pride
And I've promised to myself that I'll never lose anyone I care about again
For as long as there is a mystery, there is no case I can't solve
I'll solve them all, in order to never forget you, for that's all I can give
