"Pit...Pit, wake up..." said the goddess' voice, "come on, Pit." Pit stirred quiet a bit, but he did not open his eyes. "Darn it, Pit! Get your lazy butt in gear!" the voice growled, sounding a whole lot harsher than Palutena would usually sound.
"What...? Palutena, are you alright? You sound a bit crabbier then I remember." the angel yawned, rubbing his eyes and sitting up. Pit opened his eyes slowly; everything a huge blur.
"What are you talking about?! You don't even remember me?!" the voice snapped. Pit's vision came slowly; the more he saw, the more he wished it was a dream; for the Goddess of Nature Viridi stood right in front of him.
"Viridi?! What are you doing here?!" Pit asked, ready to whip out his blade at any moment. Viridi chuckled, flipping her blond hair.
"Seriously, Palutena didn't even tell you? Wow, some duo you are!" Pit glared at the Goddess and cocked his head to the side,
"So, why are you here?" he asked, a bit more softer.
"Okay, since your little Goddess forgot to inform you; for better or for worse; I'll explain." The Goddess snapped her fingers, and in replacement of the huge staff she carried; a piece of chalk was on the palm of her right hand. Another snap, and the Goddess conjured up a chalkboard. For an extra measure, she magically made Pit sit in a school desk. The Goddess chuckled softly, "Lets start our lesson."
"Me and Palutena met one day; ya' know, since we've never seen each other for such a long time. We were normally having a conversation; that is, until she popped up the idea of switching places." Viridi drew a crude picture of Palutena and herself; except the chalkboard Viridi was drawn much nicer than Palutena. "She said, 'Hey, why don't we switch for the week? I always wondered what it would be like in your shoes.'" Viridi added as much mock as she could muster up during that sentence. "I was a bit reluctant with that idea at first; but then I thought, a chance to mess with the angel!" The Goddess' eyes sparkled at the thought.
"Gee, that's a nice thing to say, considering I'm right over here." the angel interrupted; struggling to escape out of the tight desk.
"Yeah, yeah. Don't act like that in front of me. Anyways, she managed to persuade me to do it; so here I am! For one. Whole. Week."Viridi added extra emphasis to the last three words. The Goddess snapped her fingers and everything disappeared; and Pit found himself back on his bed, no desk tightly secured on him. "So, now that you know, lets start our first day together!" said the Goddess, clapping her hands.
