OK, so this is a small, humorous little writing I thought up of and I think some people might like it. It's this year's Superbowl from Victor's point of view.

Victor Rodenmaar sat in his office, staring at 10 strips of paper. Various proverbs were delicately handwritten on the thin, somewhat yellowed paper, puzzling Victor's brain heavily. What can they mean? Victor thought, reading each and every one over and over again.

His focus on the proverbs was interrupted by sudden screaming downstairs. "Those vermin have interrupted my research again," He muttered as he walked down the stairs and into the common room, where the Anubis residents were huddled around the TV.

"What is going on here?" Victor asked quite loudly. Patricia turned to face him, though her friends kept their eyes on the television screen.

"In America, they have this thing called the Superbowl, and it's a big American football game, and they only have it once per year! This year, the Ravens and the 49ers are playing against each other. It's so cool!" Patricia turned back to the TV. Just then, there was another round of screaming-something about a touchdown? What in the world is a touchdown? And there are ravens in this game? What? Victor wondered. He peered over the teenager's heads, slightly curious as to just what exactly was on that TV.

He was taken aback when he saw grown men in tights slamming into each other. It seemed to be that they were fighting for a small, oddly shaped leather ball. Victor didn't see any ravens, but he did see a few middle-aged men. Perhaps they were all 49.

"See these guys," Patricia pointed to a few men in maroon uniforms, "They're the 49ers, from San Francisco. The purple guys are the Ravens." Ah, so they are not actual ravens. Victor sighed, slightly disappointed. He turned to go back upstairs to continue his thinking, but he was interrupted- again- but yet another round of screeches. He glanced at the small television, having second thoughts.

Maybe I should take a small, 5 minute break, and just watch this confusing… thing. Much to Patricia's surprise, he pulled up a chair right next to her and began to ask questions about why the men were tackling each other.

Some time later….

Victor knew he was too enchanted by the game as soon as he sat down. Now, he was completely addicted to it, screaming along with the kids whenever somebody scored a touchdown, laughing at the ridiculous commercials, and getting quite agitated when somebody didn't get a flag.

Victor loved this game. It was interesting; he'd never seen anything like it. Just as the children rooted for their favorite teams, Victor did as well. Personally, he had taken a liking to the Ravens, and even planned to watch more of their touchdowns on YouTube with Cobierre later on.

Victor had tried to leave- Key word, tried. He had only stood up at halftime when a beautiful, melodious voice beckoned him to sit back down again. Victor had looked at the screen to glance at the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. It was Beyoncé. The luxurious, highly famed singer had captured Victor's heart. He was enhanced by her stellar voice and beauty. He loved Beyoncé from first sight.

Even after the singer had left the stage, Victor stayed downstairs, switching between fantasies of his new love interest and the exciting football game happening back in reality. It was a great evening, and nothing could spoil Victor's current happiness. Until the next morning, when Alfie started yet another food fight at breakfast.

Done!
