Title: The Life and Times
Summary: I saw Brokeback Mountain, and fell in love with it. These are just my little drabbles about certain events in the movie that particularly caught my eye. Nothing special.
Notes: I don't own anything except my own perspective. ;)
Darkness of a suffocating kind clouded both mind and nature. Impenetrable, and thick - the kind of displaced light that could not be pierced by inner nor outer eye - no matter how long the determined soul persisted. It was in this thick cloud that all real world seemed but a melancholy memory, and the ground beneath him would fall away into an abyss that he would never admit he treaded into nightly. Nothing mattered in this ethereal state but the steady beat of his own heart; the only thing that allowed his mind to remain attached to the idea of his own existence. All was silent, and calm, and pure in this rolling sea of darkness.
And then he felt him. As he always did.
Skin, and need, and soul meshed in a passion unmatched by even the wilderness around them. Jack's touch left the darkness behind in a whirl of sensations, and Ennis saw the light again.
Mehp. I'll try to update regularly, but A.P. Exams loom ever closer ..
