We join our heroes as they rise up out of the ocean, having left Fishman Island in order to enter the dangerous waters of the New World. They breach the surface, releasing the bubble surrounding the Thousand Sunny. The sky is full of dark clouds and a mild wind blowing the Strawhat flag violently.
"Don't worry!" Nami announced. "The storm just missed us. The wind will die down in a little while"
"That's my Nami-swan! Always looking out for us!" Sanji interjected, hearts forming in his eyes.
Ignoring Sanji, Nami looked at the new triple log pose in order to gain a heading. Due to the islands of the New World having fluctuating magnetic forces, a single log pose would have been useless. In addition, the amount of movement a log pose gave off indicated the stability of the island's magnetic force.
"Well, Captain. What's our heading?" Nami asked Luffy.
Luffy looked at the log pose on Nami's wrist and despite the fact that he wanted to go to the most unstable island, all of his choices seemed to be identical.
Disappointed, Luffy closed his eyes lifted a finger and randomly pointed at one of the three. "Let's go here!"
"Alright" Nami shook her head and laughed. "Chopper! We need to turn 60 degrees starboard!"
Chopper, already in his Heavy Point, spins the wheel! "Aye, aye!"
As the Strawhats continue into the open sea, the sky becomes clearer, allowing the sun to shine upon the faces of our heroes. They continue to ride upon the Sunny for several days. Luffy succumbs to boredom and whines about how long the trip is. Zoro continues to lift his incredibly enourmous weights to pass the time. Nami and Robin sit out on the deck as Sanji brings them drinks. Brook plays on his violin as Chopper listens with stars in his eyes. Franky takes a nap and Usopp stands on the bow of the ship announcing his ridiculous claims to the world.
Suddenly, Usopp spots something in the distance and lowers his binoculars to get a closer look. In the distance there is what seems to be an enormous circular wall surrounding a sizeable island.
"Guys! I think I see it!" Usopp announces to everyone.
The Strawhats rush to the bow of the Sunny as the ship closes in on the island. It became clear almost immediately that the wall was far bigger than previously estimated, it was titanic even. The walls were made of a gleaming steel that reflected the rays of sunlight blinding the Strawhats. Any ship attempting to attack would be defenseless during the day. Thousands of openings on the wall revealed the barrels of cannons, however none of them seemed interested in the Thousand Sunny. The ship slowly entered an opening, a massive gate held up by gigantic chains hung above their heads as they entered the tunnel. Chopper and Usopp's eyes were suddenly filled with fear as the wall of the tunnel were littered with dead bodies as well as torn and tattered pirate flags. Words such as "thieves" and "murderers" were painted in blood above their bodies.
Usopp stumbled across his words as he got Nami's attention. "N-N-N-N-Namiā¦.. Maybe we should turn back. I feel my "I Can't Walk Into A Dangerous Island" disease acting up again."
"Don't be such a coward" Nami snapped at Usopp coldly, turning to Robin. "Robin, could you pull down the flag, this place clearly isn't too keen on pirates."
Robin crossed her arms across her chest, making use of her devil fruit powers to pull down the flag from the ship. "Most certainly, Navigator"
The crew continued through the tunnel and their eyes all widened while their faces all went into a state of shock as they looked out upon the interior of the great wall.
