John Winchester's eyes flashed with anger tinged craziness. The nurse knew enough to back off.
"Room 301."
John approached the room. Two local police officers were conferencing outside the door.
"Sir, we have some questions…."
"It will have to wait." John pushed past the men.
Dean was unconscious in the bed, his face, Mary's face, was bruised and bloodied. His right arm was casted and propped on a pillow. His other arm was curled around the sleeping form of his brother, who was nestled against his side.
"I'm here now, boys. I'm here."
