There she is. The one I love, right beside me. Why I didn't tell her I love her I don't know. Pururu I swear I will make sure that you get out of here, even if it means me losing my life you will get out of here! I look at her "Pururu , I promised myself that if we were ever in a situation like this I would tell you my biggest secret."

"Garuru I..." I didn't let her finish because I knew that my life may be coming to an end. That frogging Viper can really put up a fight. He stabbed me about 5 times. "Pururu I need to tell you that I love you. I have loved you since the moment that we met" I suddenly cough up blood "and I will always love you!" I may hurt but I feel good because I told her.

"I love you too." Pururu said softly.

I look up. "You love me!"

"I have loved you ever since I was a little tadpole and I always will." she starts crying

"Pururu don't cry" I gently put my hands on her cheeks "we're going to get out of here OK."

Pururu nods her head "OK" she said with a hint of a smile.

I grin and wipe the tears off of her cheeks. She pulls me into a hug. We sit there for a long time, just hugging eachother. Pururu eventually let's go of me but she has a sad look on her face so I let her get into a more comfortable position and then I put my arms around her and I hold her close. After about 20 minutes Pururu falls asleep. I won't sleep, I can't risk losing her. If some Viper attacks us I'll be prepared.

MORNING

I wake up in Garuru's arms. He's already awake and it's very likely he didn't sleep last night. "Good morning " I say quietly.

Garuru looks down "Did you sleep OK?" he asked with a concerned look on his face.

"Better than I normally would" I say, seeing if Garuru got what I was saying. He did because he started blushing. That made me giggle.

"That's good to hear" he said with a yawn.

"Why don't you get some sleep. I can keep watch."I said worrying about him being sleep deprived.

"Are you sure?" he said in a serious tone

"Yes I think that I can keep us safe for a couple of hours"

"OK, but only for a little bit. 2 hours at the most" then he did something that I have dreamed about him doing for years, he kissed me softly on the lips.
