A/N: Ah, okay, I've finally figured out what I love. Canons before they actually get together. I fell out with Gwevin when they actually started dating… And I figure that while WallyxArtemis is still in that stage, I'd better take advantage of it.
Disclaimer: Don't own.
"Dweeb!"
"Twerp!"
"Jerk!"
"Idiot!"
"Meanie!"
"...really? Is that the best you can come up with, ya little weasel?"
Robin had been listening to this same quarrel day after day after day. And it just went on and on. They were getting on his nerves.
"Flirt!"
"Nerd!"
"Are you guys really going to keep going at it like this for the rest of your lives?" piped in Robin, looking up from the numbers that spread themselves across the screen of his laptop like a blanket to hide his information. "You're acting like a couple of six-year-olds!"
Instead of responding like the teenagers they were, both Artemis and Wally snapped, "Stay out of this!"
With a heavy sigh, Robin looked back to his laptop, syncing new software into his systems and upgrading some of the security that he would later reinstall into the Batcave. Changing the systems usually kept everything secretive from slipping out into the world.
The numbers slid by like fish in a river, each one of them different but the same. The numbers were a familiar comfort. Never changing. Always there. Numbers were his close friends. Robin did enjoy numbers very much.
It took him a few minutes to register that he was no longer hearing the name-calling and the yelling and the death-threats from the two older teens. Robin was almost afraid to look up.
He did anyways. And cringed at the sight before him.
Artemis had her hands up in Wally's hair and the ginger had his hands on her hips. The two were in a lip-lock that was clearly meant to be unbreakable. Each was fighting for dominance with their tongues, neither wanting to give into the other's power.
Wally's hands moved along the blonde's beautiful hips his head spinning in the moment. She was so pretty... Her chest was so nice... His lips mashed against hers a little harder.
Artemis wasted no time in getting her tongue to wrestle a little harder with his. She wished it had been a more romantic moment in comparison to a battle for dominance. She was interested in Wally, but something about him made everything with him feel like a fight.
The redhead's hands molded into the small of the girl's back, his fingers interlocking and fitting perfectly.
She drove her hands harder into his hair, her lips mashing his harder with his. She loved the way he was throwing all of himself at her without a hesitation. Artemis had never stopped loving the way guys were willing to just fling themselves at her. It was pretty awesome for a girl who just always needed to feel like she belonged somewhere…
"Seriously?" came Robin's voice, his blue eyes wide behind his shaded glasses that hid a few of his facial features. "Are you guys really making out right in the middle of the room? I'm an impressionable young teenager!"
Neither heard him. Wally just drove himself harder against Artemis, trying to get the best he could out of this moment. He didn't know how soon he'd get this again. He just wanted to have so many more of these moments.
"Alright," said the Boy Wonder, slamming the lid of his laptop down and sliding off the couch with the computer in hand. "You two disgust me." He wasn't afraid to disappear from this scene. He hated it.
Artemis kept her tongue battling Wally's. She had to admit, he was a bit addictive.
Wally kept his hands pressing further in the blonde's back. She was so gorgeous despite all the rough edges and the irritating attitude.
The next day, the squabble started up again, Robin once more in the room. He was happy to say that the second half of the argument didn't happen a second time.
A/N: Well, that's my first attempt at WallyxArtemis. Enjoyed? Then review!
