"The Legend Continues"
This is a tale, a legend
Of the land of Hyrule
Passed down by generations
And generations
Of the people
A tale of the struggle
Between power, wisdom, and courage
A tale that goes on
A legend that continues
In the heart of Hyrule
Lies the Sacred Realm
Along with its sacred relic,
The Golden Triforce
With the divine powers
Of Din, Nayru, and Farore
Left in the governing Triforce,
The blessed kingdom begins an era
Of peace and prosperity
And the legend continues.
Yet for every tale of light
Lies a legend of darkness
For every tale of hope
Lies a legend of despair
Evil would lurk from afar
Corrupted hearts would lust
For the sacred, divine relic
Such was the desire
Of a lord from the desert
Of a man thirsting for power
Wars will erupt
Blood will be shed
Lives will be ruined
Lives will be lost
When all is at doomed…
When all hope is lost…
The chosen ones shall be
Awakened
And the legend continues.
One shall be a hero clad in green
Sword in one hand, shield in the other
Marked with courage in his nature
The other, a princess of destiny
Possessed with intuition
Imbued with wisdom
Together these two
Are destined to be
The children of the future
Together these three
Are destined to be
The bearers of the Triforce
And the legend continues.
The fate of Hyrule
Lies in these three bearers
One in a bloody quest for power
The others in a race to restore balance
With courage and wisdom
From the lairs of Death Mountain,
To the realm of darkness,
Amid the seven years ruins,
And the flooding of an ancient kingdom
The future of Hyrule
Lies in the ultimate clash
Between good and evil
And the victory of peace and hope
And the legend continues.
When balance is restored
When peace returns
Another new chapter
Sets a new tale, a new legend
But as the people know
This is a tale that goes on
A legend that continues
So long as there is a struggle
Between power, wisdom, and courage
For every evil presence
That threatens the land of Hyrule
There lie the keys of hope
And the seeds of the future
For every time the lord attempts
To seize the ultimate source of power
The hero and the princess arise
With courage and wisdom to save Hyrule
And the legend continues.
