Evan was fascinated by the exquisite patterns on the gold plate of the ship in front of him. Phantom ushered him forward, a tight smile on his lips. "There's more than that inside, Evan, don't slack. You'll get a cold when this ship gets moving. It's amazing how bitterly cold it can get out here, when we're moving." The young Dragon Master was enraptured the moment he stepped into the hallway; his expression made that clear. Phantom snickered.

Luminous shot a glare at Phantom. "Get him out of that trance, you stupid thief. Why did you decorate this damned ship so elaborately? What's the point of it, anyway?"

"The point is that it's for show, my dear Luminous," Phantom snorted sarcastically back. "Hey, Evan? Can you get out of that trance or do you need help to?"

"Just shake him out of it," Luminous growled, turning back to the book in his hands. "Only when we get to start the meeting will I put down this book. And we can't start the meeting with one person not paying attention."

"Why didn't we hold it elsewhere, now?" Mercedes muttered.

"List out the towns for me. Humor me." Luminous' voice was dry as he spoke, not lifting his gaze. "Wait. The Islands, not the towns."

"Victoria Island, Orbis, Rien, Edelstein..."

"World Tree, Black Magic, too cold, Black Wings." Luminous' voice was tart, and he barely looked up from the book. Mercedes sighed, learned over to Evan and gently shook him.

"Wha-?"

"Now that he's here, we can start the meeting," Luminous announced, placing down the book. His odd-eyed gaze looked around the room at the four other people. "So, who's going to keep him in line, due to the stupid decorations?"

No one had an answer, and the question hung in the air.
