"Super Nova Ocean!" screamed Basil as he charged into the barrier.

"Dammit, it's not working! It's only making small holes!" said Basil with much frustration. He was trying his best to break the barrier and stop Uni from sacrificing herself. He was about to try again-

"That's good enough for me!" said a voice. Basil watched as the man jumped through the hole and reached Uni. Smiling slightly, he let the man through and jumped back to the ground.

The man landed in front of Uni and stood up from his crouching position.

"Hey, Princess." said Gamma with a smirk on his battered face. He was panting slightly from the injury that he received from his earlier battle.

"Gamma!" said Uni with a shocked face. She was not expecting to see him in here, of all places.

"I finally get to see you, only to have you slip away yet again. That's not very fair, is it?" teased Gamma. He smiled softly and asked "Won't you use my flames too?" As Gamma asked this of Uni, he remember a conversation he had earlier with Reborn.

Reborn and Gamma sat around a small campfire with small rocks surrounding it.

"What is it that you want to ask me? Calling me way out here...-"

"You... how do you feel about Uni?" asked Reborn.

Shocked, Gamma asked "What kind of random question is that?"

"You know that Uni admires you, right? I know it's none of my business, but there's no time left." said Reborn. "If we waste any more time, then they'll... slip through before we know it."

Gamma was speechless. He knew what Reborn meant and it hurt to bring back the bittersweet memories of Aria. But...

"I know you're aware... that the Sky Arcobaleno is blessed with deep emotion, and has a smile brighter than anyone, but they shoulder the heaviest responsibilities and are taken away from us by destiny." said Reborn. He paused a moment before continuing.

"There's no time to wait until she grows up. Stop treating her like a baby and look at her. Look at her soul."

Smiling at their conversation, Gamma glanced at Uni. Her eyes were teary from crying. Why did she cry? Then it hit him.

'She's scared of death.' thought Gamma.

So, Gamma walked to Uni and wrapped his arms around her.

He bought her close to him and said "I won't leave you alone."

"Do you remember what you whispered in my ear long ago? I still haven't given you an answer." said Gamma with a smile.

Then he leaned into her and whispered "I love you."

Uni's eyes widened. Her tears started to flow once again. She held onto Gamma's suit and let it all out.

"Come on, that's not the face to show at a time like this. That's not what your mother taught you." said Gamma while gently grabbing Uni's shoulder and looking at her.

"Uni. When you're happy, smile with your heart."

'Mother...' thought Uni. Then she smiled.

She did not fear death anymore.
