The travel book

Meggie was sitting on her Aunt Eleanor's couch on a lazy Sunday afternoon when Dustfinger walked through the door. "Oh, uh hi what are you doing here?" Meggie asked. "Where is Mo?" he asked. "He's in his room, he isn't awake yet though." She said. He walked to Mo's bedroom, and stopped he knocked on the heavy wood. The hinges creaked and it swung open. Only to reveal Mo's tired face. His hair was a mess and he was still in his Pajama's. Without any discussion Dustfinger walked and the door closed. Meggie couldn't help herself she tiptoed over to the big door and pressed her ear to it. She could only make out a few words like map, Travel through, why, and book. She couldn't imagine what they were talking about. She grabbed her own book and began to read. Soon, after about an hour or so Mo and Dustfinger came out, Mo still in his nightclothes and Dustfinger reading a very old book, Meggie wondered weather the conversation they had was about that book.

Dustfinger put the book down and walked outside as he left he called to Mo, "I'll wait out here!" "Ok" Mo called back. Mo went upstairs and past his room probably to wake up Risa. Meggie ran over to where Dustfinger had laid the book. She open the cover carefully so not to rip or tear it. When she got to the first chapter she realized this book was not old at all but written in the year of 2004 for it talked about recent books. She didn't understand why it had a map of various places in it. Then she saw the names of the cities and towns. One caught her eye, it was called Traverse town. "Traverse town?" She said to herself. What a strange name for a place in the middle of an ocean.

Suddenly she felt herself falling.
