Hello everyone and welcome to my new story. I would like to thank everyone who read and enjoyed my previous story and i hope you enjoy this one.

Chapter 1

Our story begins Wass Forest where there was a village filled with happy people, these people lived a simple life living of the land and selling there products at towns all over Fiore. Inside one of these homes a woman was hard at work making a delicious dinner for her family "ALEX" she called but no response she called but still no response "where is that boy." She went outside to find her son, she was beinging to worry till she saw her neighbour waving at her "Hi Miranda, how's everything" Miranda smiled "Hello Thomas everything would be better if I knew where Alex was" Thomas noticed the worry in her eyes "well I just saw him in the forest not long ago" Miranda started to power walk towards the forest "I swear that boy will be the death of me."

Miranda made her way to the forest where she was sure she would find her child "So much like his father" she said with a smile on her face but it didn't mask the worry, she kept on walking towards the middle of the forest till she heard a child shouting "you can't beat me" the child shouted and Miranda could help but chuckle as she saw her her blond 6 year old boy with dark blond hair who was covered in mud swinging a small wooden sword around him.

Alex was in a collapsing temple facing off against the neo oracion seis he was blocking everyone of there attacks, Racer and Cobra tried to do a double attack but Alex was able to avoid it and hit both with a counter sword strike. Cobra and Racer fell to the ground along the other members "we can't beat him, he's too fast" Racer says and Cobra went wide eyed "OK we surrender" he said in fear and Alex stood in victory as members of Fairy Tail thanked him for helping them out.

Once Miranda saw that Alex was finished playing she called him "Alex" and he stopped and looked at his mother wide eyed with fear and anxiety because he knew that he was in trouble now, Miranda told Alex to come to her which he complies head down. Alex was standing in front of his mother who knelt down in front of him "how many times have we told you to not leave the village without me or your dad with you" Alex still had his head down not wanting to look his mother in the eye.

Miranda shook her head "I know you like to explore Alex but we've told you to not leave the village without me or your father, and look at you your filthy so now your dinner will be cold because I'm gonna have to give you a bath" Alex stood head faced down "I'm sorry mommy" was his only response. Miranda sighed "we just dont want you to get hurt" she raises up Alex's chin "you're our little boy and we just want you to be safe" Miranda stood up and gestures to Alex to follow her home.

Alex was sat down at the table eating his cold dinner only thinking in his mind that he would eat this cold dinner with pride because he saved the day, Miranda stood there watching him with a smile but turned her to look out of the window. Alex looked at his mother "when's dad coming home?" he asked Miranda shakes her head "I don't know sweetheart he should've been home by now" Alex looked out of the window as well "Do you think he's OK?" Miranda put a hand on his shoulder "Definitely, now my Fairy Tail wizard it's your bed time." Miranda gave Alex a kiss on his head and Alex grabbed his toy sword and shouted goodnight to his mother before running upstairs, after Alex was finished getting ready he climbed into his bed and on his bed side was a picture of him, his mother and a man with huge muscles and an axe on his back "goodnight dad see you tomorrow"

It was the middle of the night and Alex was curled up in his bed but was woken by screaming outside, Alex looked outside his window and saw fire "what's going on?" he asked out loud. Miranda slammed the door open and Alex saw the fear in her eyes "Alex" she called then ran to him and wrapping him in a hug "what's going on?" he asked and Miranda picked him up "I don't know sweetheart but it's not safe." Miranda then ran out of the room carrying Alex who grabbed his sword before they left the house.

Miranda ran outside and all she could see was flames and people in black hoods killing her friends and setting the village ablaze, Miranda wasting no time ran into the forest but was spotted by one of the lieutenants "Seize Her" he commanded and 5 hooded people chased after her. Miranda kept on running but she tripped and fell, holding onto Alex making sure he was OK they both looked up and saw one of the hooded figures raising up a spear ready to land the killing blow, but as the blow was coming they didn't feel it but they saw the hooded figure flying towards a tree.

Miranda and Alex looked to see who saved them and they saw some one they knew "DAD" Alex shouted and he smiled at his son "you've grown Alex" they stood next to him "it's about you came home Argile" Miranda said with smile seeing her husband. Argile looked down at his wife "Sorry I was late we had some bandits on the road that held us up" he stated as he withdrew his axe "Miranda take Alex and keep running, I'll hold these guys off" Miranda went wide eyed but trusted his choice and quickly picked up Alex and kept on running and Alex shouted for his dad to follow but clashing of steel filled the air.

Miranda and Alex stopped at a beach "Mom what about Dad? We should help" Miranda look at her son "I know you want to but your father is a strong man he'll be OK" she said trying to console her son but even she was worried. Miranda tried to come up with a plan but a man wearing heavy armour with a goat's head on the chest plate walked onto the beach "you tried to run but not anymore" he said as he stood a few feet away from them. Miranda moved Alex behind her "what do you want with us we're just a small village what could we possibly have that you want?" The man smiled "we want to cause mayhem" was his only response Miranda went wide eyed with fear as Alex hid behind his mother.

Miranda didn't know what to do but she knew she had to protect Alex "I don't care what you do to me but you'll never hurt him" she said in defiance but the man smirked as the sand clung to his body "I was hoping you'd say that" he then started walking towards her, Miranda pushed Alex out of way and got caught in a hand made out of sand. Miranda tried to get free but couldn't and Alex looked on but ran at the armoured man "LET HER GO" he shouted but a wave of sand knocked him to the side, Miranda looked on in horror and this man hurting her son "don't hurt him" the man looked down at the boy and went wide eyed "I'm not going to."

The man picked up Alex as more people came "what are you doing Ace?" a women asked who was wearing similar armour to Ace with the same logo on her chest plate. Ace looked at the women "just giving us unlimited power" he said with a smile, the red haired looked at Ace like he was crazy "what are you talking about?" she asked and Ace lifted up Alex "Doesn't he have something that looks familiar Serena?" he showed her Alex's shoulder where a birth mark in the shape of an eye was she looked at her own shoulder where a similar mark was but in the shape but has lines in each corner and she went wide eyed with shock. "He has... we have to bring him back to the guild" Serena said as Ace threw Alex over his shoulder.

"I was going to do that, how's the village?" he asked and Serena told him that it was burned to the ground, as the two started to walk away Miranda started to scream for them to bring her son back, Ace looked back "hmm I forgot about her" and with a snap of his fingers the screaming stopped.
