Okaaay, so I don't own the rights to anything other than Ivy Rose, who isn't introduced in this chapter.

"And what Lucius, Bellatrix led to this sudden change of heart? After all at this point both your reputations proceed you."Dumbledore asked not trusting the motives of the witch and wizard in front of him. He had witnessed then grow up during their time at Hogwarts, both only motivated by making their respective families proud. They had both had the importance of 'blood purity' drilled into them from the day they were born, so they had definitely not left Voldemort because they disagreed with his cause, they more than agreed with the notion of keeping magical blood 'pure.' So why would they risk their own lives by showing up here asking to help the order?
"Does it matter? We are offering you crucial information you will need in order to win this war. We are giving you not one but two informants in the Dark Lords closest circle. You would know about every plan before it occurred and crucially know when would be best for the Order to attack." Lucius answered hoping to not have to share anything about his wife's ordeal, she deserved a glimmer of privacy at least.
"In terms of trust and determining where your real loyalties lie, yes. It matters a great deal."

"Okay well Albus, last night a group of death eaters, angry at the dark lords favouring of both me and my brother in law, decided the best way to express their anger would be to assault my sister. Now whilst the Dark Lord did allow me into his ranks apparently that was 'despite my gender not because of it' and his response to her attack was to tell us that she was 'Just a woman and should have known how to better protect herself' Is that reason enough for our loyalties to now lie elsewhere?" Bellatrix challenged furious, barely controlling her anger. The image of her sister huddled up in a corner, flinching at any sort of movement, absolutely terrified stuck in her mind as though it had been scorched onto her retinas. She had originally had complete faith in her Lord to do something about it to punish the three death eaters who'd hurt her sister, but upon hearing his response she could no longer find it within herself to fight for him, to be loyal to him.
"Quite. How is Mrs Malfoy?" He asked, at Hogwarts it had always been clear to anyone who looked closely that whilst not weak in any way, she was the most sensitive and vulnerable of the Black sisters. Bellatrix was a force to be reckoned with, Andromeda was the only sister brave enough to stand up to her entire family and smart enough to realize the pure blood propaganda she was fed was lies, whilst Narcissa just seemed to do as she was told. She made her way through her Hogwarts years without any issues then married Lucius and had his son, she was the ideal pure-blood woman.
"She will be fine." Lucius didn't want to discuss his wife's well being with the man, the distrust in the conversation ran both ways after all.
"Very well, I'll contact you in due course should we have any meetings. However if any thing relevant crops up in the mean time I trust you'll make us aware."

"Actually I wanted to speak about one more thing before we leave," Bellatrix intervened just as both men went to stand Lucius and Dumbledore looked up at her expectantly, unsure what she wanted to add.
"We are both sacrificing our safety here, we could die, and so in return I want something."
"Yes?" Dumbledore asked.
"The Order's protection of my sister, nephew, and..." She hesitated for a second having not revealed her pregnancy to anyone but her younger sister and husband up until this point, though she realized she'd have to obliviate her husband now, he would never turn against the dark lord, especially not just to help her sister. She momentarily was very thankful they'd agreed not to tell anyone else until it became obvious, which given that it was her first pregnancy was taking a long time. It meant she now had the chance to cast concealment charms and hide it from any prying eyes until her daughter was born, and promptly taken from her.

"A new life for my unborn child, nobody will know who she is. She will live a long prosperous life far away from me, until the time is right. That is of course if I live that long."
"Not to ruin your plan Bella, but I think it might become obvious when you're the size of a house." Lucius pointed out, quickly getting over the shock of his sister in laws pregnancy, she was after all a married pure-blood woman, it was all but expected of her. The only thing that shocked him was the fact she did actually have a maternal nature somewhere deep inside her and she was already showing it, sacrificing the chance to raise her own daughter in an attempt to keep her safe and out of the dangerous clutches of Voldemort.
"I'll sort that out on own, thank you. Nobody will find out, no one's noticed for the past 4 months, including you." She hissed at Lucius
"Will you really be able to hide your child from Voldemort though" Dumbledore asked.
"I will keep my daughter safe from that man for the 5 months I have left carrying her, then I will pass her along to you. All you then have to do is make sure no one finds out who she is."
"Very well, I'll make sure she's placed with a family that will keep her safe. Until then though as I said I will inform you of any meetings, and if you gain any information of worth you'll inform me." Dumbledore agreed to the two death eaters requests, seeing no harm in allowing them into the Order as long as they weren't given any sensitive information until a real sense of trust was established.

"Cissy?" Bellatrix walked into her nephew's nursery having just arrived at Malfoy Manor after her meeting with Dumbledore, noticing his sister sat down on the carpet by her son's crib with one hand wrapped around the bars, studying her sleeping son intently.
"Hmm?" She said not even bothering to turn to look at her older sister.
"None of them will ever hurt you again, and they will pay for what they did, in the end they'll pay." She promised her sister.
"Don't make promises you can't keep."
"I can, your husband can."
"Lucius? What did you both do?" She asked suddenly anxious looking to her older sister.
"The less you know the better," Bellatrix tried to keep her baby sister out of the situation which could surely lead to all involved's downfall.
"Bella?"
"Our loyalties now lay else where, I'll leave it at that.""
"You didn't?" Narcissa seemed astounded by the realization her sister and husband had turned to their enemies just to help her, she'd abandoned Voldemort for her.
"Cissy, honestly lets not talk about it any more, it's safer that way." Narcissa though visibly annoyed at the lack of answers, nodded dropping the subject. She'd learned at this point that if Bellatrix wanted a subject dropped then it's best to just go along with her and drop it.

Draco suddenly let out a wail in his crib sticking out his little fists, his mother immediately stood and leaned in to retrieve her crying son but winced as her ribs protested against the sudden movement. The baby calmed almost instantly in his mother's soothing arms. Bellatrix watched her sister rock Draco back and forth with a sense of jealousy, she was never going to get that. This baby would continue to grow within her body, she would birth this child, but that's as much of motherhood as she'd get to experience. Other than a constant sense of worry that her child's identity would be exposed.
"People are going to notice soon you know," Narcissa interrupted her sister's train of thought, wanting to think about something else, to allow her mind to drift to someone's problems.
"No. They won't."
"What are you talking about? Someone is going to notice your stomach." She said gesturing to her sister's stomach which still didn't show any signs of the baby growing within her, despite her being a good way through her pregnancy.
"Their are spells, charms, their are ways to hide it trust me." Bellatrix cut of her younger sister, who did allow her sister to drop the subject but still in her mind worried that her sister couldn't really conceal something so major from Voldemort. Especially given how much time they spent together and how often Bella was in potentially harmful situations.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Bella asked, not one for dealing with emotions but caring too much for Narcissa to let her deal with it on her own.
"No, it's done. Can't really change it now. " Narcissa said abruptly putting Draco back in the crib having successfully rocked him back into a hopefully deep sleep.
"We did try and get the Dark Lord to do something about it, to punish them in someway but he... Well it's a decision he'll come to regret lets leave it at that."
"Leave it at that? How am I meant to go on living my life as I did before when I have to see those monsters all the time, when I know they're having meetings at my house, when I know my sister and my own husband are still talking to them? They could do it again, I mean why wouldn't they? They didn't get in trouble the first time. "
"They won't touch you again, I'm going to teach you some new defensive spells, wandless ones for if they ever tried something again. However I have a feeling they may all be badly injured in our next battle, after all who reallyknows where all the different curses are coming from in that situation, trust me they wouldn't dare.."

Over the next few months both Bellatrix and Lucius discreetly passed more and more information to the order without any of their fellow death eaters noticing. Bellatrix hid her pregnancy well, and all was going to plan. But it still ebbed away in the back of her mind that however this went their was no happy ending for her, and her only hope was that she'd be able to keep her daughter safe, as well as her sister.

She'd slowly drifted away from her husband, distancing herself from him so as to make sure that he didn't notice her pregnancy. The charms she used meant no one could see the swell of her stomach, but if someone were to put their arms out they could feel it. However this didn't seem to be an issue as they both seemed to be living completely separate lives, if one wasn't out on an attack the other was. Plus Bellatrix was spending a lot more time at Malfoy Manor, still fiercely protective of her little sister, who seemed to be putting all her time and energy into raising her son.

However when Lucius had told her about the planned attack on the Potters that all came to a grinding halt. Their warning to Dumbledore about the Dark Lord knowing where the Potters were hiding being marginally too late, even so the outcome still meant he was gone.

Voldemort was dead, though everyone closely clued into what had happened had their doubts about if that was permanent. Bellatrix felt a huge sense of glee upon hearing about his death, and immediately set about working on plans to get back at the men who had hurt her sister, whilst she'd had the opportunity to throw a few nasty curses at them in the battles since they'd attacked her sister, she hadn't been able to permanently fix the problem. Now she thought she'd start with Crouch Jr and deal with Dolohov and Carrow later, Crouch Jr had after all been the one to show absolutely no remorse for what he'd done, and had been wearing a smug grin ever since, almost daring her to try and kill him. She found him easily enough, she assumed he would be looking for their fallen leader and so went to various different people's houses who could possibly have the information they were after. Eventually she ended up outside the Longbottom's house and heard the familiar ghastly screams of someone subject to the torture of death eaters inside, she immediately sent a warning to Dumbledore but didn't wait to go inside the house.

She crept inside slowly, casting a silencing charm so her shoes didn't bang against the hardwood flooring, wanting the element of surprise on her side, she edged closer and closer to the source of the screams hearing to her surprise both her husband and brother in law with Barty, and concluded that she would have to obliviate them later, right now her only thoughts were for revenge. She had wanted to give him a slow death, make him suffer as he had with her sister, she'd dreamed of his long drawn out cries of pain, but she was aware that with two other death eaters present, weather they were her husband and brother in law or not, she knew that wasn't the smartest idea for her in terms of her own safety. So instead she stood outside the room for a few seconds readying herself before she barged in slamming the door so hard it nearly bounced back off the wall and hit her.

She had her wand ready aimed directly at him, savoring the brief few seconds of fear on his face as he realized she was going to kill him. She noticed before she cast the curse the two aurors laid on their sides, clearly tortured to a point of no return, stuck in the dark depths of their own minds. She almost wondered if it would be kinder to extend two extra killing curses to the both of them, but before she could think it properly through, she was acting as though without her brain's permission, though she didn't disagree with what she was doing.
"Avada kedavra!" The distinctive flash of green light came from the tip of her wand and with that he was dead, one problem dealt with. Immediately both her husband and brother in law turned to her though, the latter even raising his wand as if to return the killing curse.

"What the hell Bella?" Rodolphus shouted at his wife, but before she even had the chance to answer back the aurors burst in to the room, stupefying them all. Her hands going to cover her invisible bump as she was stunned to the ground, her vision quickly going black, though even the slight pain of the spell didn't take away from the relief at killing even one of her younger sister's attackers.
