I dreamed about meeting you. That's what he last said to me. Then he was gone again, leaving me, flying like a whisper from the lips of a god, away from me, leaving this realm where words could be spoken with out fear, with only the slightest hesitations. In this world we used to speak every waking moment, talking about dreams, learning about each other. Finding out their heart, and the deepest echoes of secrets and pain, never to pass.
Then the lies began. Our world of truth, beauty, built so carefully, tumbling down. The little lie grew and grew, to epic proportions, taking over our world like and ink spill on a white cloth, it spread and spread, with its thundering armies, Holding me hostage. But where is my knight in shining armor? Gone, I tell you, Left for dead, possessed by the dark conqueror, Breaking down this land. He took my crown, my wings, My glory. He broke me down and left it to some one else to pick up the pieces, feather by feather, and patch my broken wings back together.
I lived in a world made of glass, the slightest movement could break it again. The only solace was waiting for his inevitable returns, Bringing the Lies and pain back, But also the love and hope. Of course, Thoose feelings were dashed within moments of speaking, words coming heavily, Un-readily. I couldn't take it. My wings were falling. I had to get away from this monster. This Thing that he's become. Or maybe he was always this wretched thing that tore open hearts, and I didn't know. Too late now.
I really need to get out of here. This hurts too much. I lie. I tell him I don't love him. I tell him he's not good for me. I tell him to leave me forever. I tell him good bye.
