"She still in there?" The fauna asks.

"Yeah…" The Heiress responded.

"Did she eat yet?"

"No."

Blake sighed. Over a month; a month since Yang locked herself from the world. A month since she stopped smiling. A month of inhabiting her new favorite bathroom. A month of crying for hours at a time. A month, since Ruby died. It all happened so quick and sudden. What seemed a simple search and destroy mission, led the team to dragging along a barely alive teammate and a team, whose hope, had vanished. They all knew that she was going to die. That among the gashes and torn insides, a happy little girl was dying. They didn't want to acknowledge it however, clinging onto a small sliver of hope that someone, anybody, could save her. The Brawler herself went on her knees, begging Ozpin to have an answer, a person he can recommend, anything.

But no help was there.

Nothing could be done.

She was gone.

Since then, nothing has been the same. Team Rwby was without their leader, and the team members were torn. Everyone paid their respect. Team JNPR, COFY, even CRDL. Many tears were shed, many hearts were torn, but nobody was more destroyed then the sister of the unfortunate.

Yang's sobs could be heard from the other side of the doorway. Both Weiss and Blake look at each other, both at a lost on what to do. What could they do?

"Weiss, go to the cafeteria and bring some food, I'll… talk to her."

With a small nod, she left the dorm. Blake took in a deep breath before opening the door. There, through the cloud filled sky filtering in through the window, was Yang sitting on the ground, sobbing. Blake stepped inside and closed the door causing Yang to quickly tilt her head towards her.

There, the true extent of her sadness showed. Eyes looking as though they haven't slept in years; face red and raw from crying. Worse of all were the bloodied knuckles from hitting the walls.

"Yan-"

"Get out." She cut her off with a choked sob.

"Just lis-"

"Get out!" She said more forcefully.

This continued until it got to the point that the Brawler was on her feet, eyes full of anger. In one quick motion, she sprinted towards her partner.

Time began to move slowly for Blake. She saw the aimed punch heading towards her face, she saw the tears in her partner's eyes, and she saw the hopelessness in them too. As the punch got closer, she, instead of moving, closed her eyes.

There was a sickening thud as it hit the wall next to her. She opened her eyes to find Yang, completely crying now.

"Why her?"

"She didn't deserve it."

"Why Blake…Why?"

She choked out.

Blake wrapped her arms around her and cried as well. Both, wallowing in their own despair.

It was a sad day for the academy of Beacon.
