Ahem, uh, hello everyone... This is a poem I wrote about Peter Pan for school /blushes/ I hope whoever reads this enjoys it and constructive criticism is welcomed /nods/ and if anyone else has a problem with the whole "It's not morn', it's morning" thing, yeah; I know that, but I wanted it to rhyme and it does mean the same thing; I looked it up.

Yes well- um, standard disclaimer applies, Peter Pan belongs to J. M. Barrie and the poem belongs to me please do not alter or steal and thank you very much for reading /bows/

Peter Pan

He comes in the night,
To sit on window's sill,
Bathed in golden fairy's light,
To see him; Oh what sight!
Sun-kissed hair with green eyes that gleam,
Stare and be forever lost in dream.

To whisk you away to a place like no other,
Where daring adventures unfold and children never grow old,
Second star to the right and straight on till morn',
Through a portal of magic enchantment and hues of gold,
Leaving behind the forgotten memories forlorn.

Child's laughter and Fay is born,
With gossamer wings and of sweet tasting things,
Musical bells her voice adorns.
While Mermaids swim in peaceful stride,
Boast only in angry pride,
With sirens' song and beckoning arms;
Their beauty and charm should bring alarm.
Where Injuns dance in games of chance,
And pirate fights bring much delight,
To Lost Boys who play all day and night.

'Take us with you!' the children plea,
His triumphant crow,
Oh the cleverness of he!

Happy thoughts to make you fly,
And pixie dust with gentle gust;
To soar beneath a twilight sky,
To Neverland with Peter Pan.

Upon return his story's told,
In detail so sublime,
Imagination takes a hold,
His story endless for all of time.
