Pour Me A Shot Or Ten
1.) He's absolutely mesmerized. He regrets complaining to Charles that they didn't need another mutant.
2.) She's a mystery; they don't know anything about her. But her smile makes him think she knows just about everything.
3.) She's vicious. She's in his head and making him feel the most excruciating pain he's ever felt. He kind of likes it.
4.) She says she feels the same way about humans as she does about mutants –she doesn't give a damn.
5.) His thoughts stray and linger on her more than necessary. Charles thinks he's obsessed.
6.) He thinks if she had joined them he wouldn't have hit his best friend with that bullet.
7.) He's drowning in guilt and the pressure of leadership when she finds him.
8.) He's mesmerized again.
9.) She's in his head again. This time the pain isn't quite as nice.
10.) Now that he thinks back on it, on that first day –she did seem to like Charles more.
