Another Thomas rewrite, this time it's "Trouble for Thomas" from Season 1, with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.

Thomas the tank-engine wouldn't stop being a nuisance. Every night, he kept the other engines awake.

"I'm tired of pushing coaches! I want to see the world!"

The other engines didn't take much notice, for Thomas was a little engine with a long tongue.

But one night, Edward came to the shed. He was a kind little engine and felt sorry for Thomas.

"I have some freight-cars to take home tomorrow. If you take them instead of me, I'll push coaches in the yard."

"Thank you!" said Thomas. That will be nice."

The next morning, Edward and Thomas asked their drivers if they could switch jobs for the day, and when they said yes, Thomas raced happily off to find freight cars.

Now freight cars are silly and noisy. They talk a lot and don't focus on what they're doing, and I'm sorry to say they play tricks on engines not used to them.

Edward knew all about freight cars. He warned Thomas to be careful, but Thomas was too excited to listen.

The shunter fastened the coupling, and when the signal turned green, the conductor waved his green flag and Thomas set off.

But the freight cars weren't ready!

"No, no, no!" they screamed. "Wait Thomas wait!"

But Thomas wouldn't wait.

"Come on, come on!" he huffed.

"Alright, alright! Don't fuss, don't fuss!" grumbled the cars.

Thomas began going faster and faster.

"WHEE!" whistled Thomas as he went through Henry's tunnel.

"Hurry, hurry!" called Thomas. He was feeling very proud of himself.

But the cars were very cross.

At last, Thomas slowed down as he came to Gordon' hill.

"Steady now, steady!" warned the driver as they reached the top. The driver applied the brakes.

"We're stopping, we're stopping!" called Thomas.

"No we aren't, no we aren't!" answered the cars, bumping into each other. "Go on, go on!"

Before the driver could stop them, they had pushed Thomas down the hill, and were laughing behind him.

Poor Thomas tried hard to stop them from making him go too fast.

"Stop pushing, stop pushing!" he hissed.

But the cars took no notice. They giggled in their silly way.

Then they saw the station up ahead! He rattled straight through the station and diverted into the goods-yard. He shut his eyes, expecting the worst. But the buffers stopped him just in time!

He didn't realize however, that Sir Topham Hatt was watching him. He was surprised to see Thomas.

"What are you doing here Thomas?" he asked.

"I took Edward's freight cars." replied Thomas.

"Why did you come so fast then?"

"I didn't mean too sir. They pushed me down the hill!

"You have a lot to learn about freight cars Thomas. After pushing them for a few weeks, you'll get used to them. Then you'll be a really useful engine!"

Thomas puffed sadly away, but remembered what Sir Topham Hatt had said.
