As the Doctor stepped out of the TARDIS, he sensed something. Timelord? He thought, surprised. But it wasn't quite. It was… missing something. An oddly familiar spaceship took off in the distance; the feeling passed. The Doctor dismissed it as nothing.
He wasn't sure why the TARDIS had brought him here. The people were well, and didn't need saving. There had been some issues, but they had been sorted, apparently with the help of an outsider, who left just minutes before. That was a shame; being a helpful outsider was the Doctor's job. The Doctor returned to the TARDIS, and as it dematerialised, between the familiar sounds of it's engines, you would've sworn it sighed.

A nice little shorty.
Ahaha, review review review! 10 points to Gryffindor if you can guess what I was implying! :D
