Disclaimer: I do not own Soul Eater or any of its characters.
Neither do I own the song "Heart Attack" By Demi Lovato.
I had this up before but i deleted it after a very threatening comment from a reviewer.
This is dedicated to all the readers *SoMaNeko-chan24, bittersweetendingsforever, and rodneymorgan42* that reviewed my other songfic.
Again, this is a songfic, but NOT a songfic.
I suggest you listen to the song while reading this.
Before, i had the lyrics along with the story but now its just story.
First paragraph goes with first chorus, second paragraph with first verse. Understand?
Thank you and please review!

She keeps her head in books, plunging herself into those cutesy romance novels she borrows from the Death City library. She would rather read about the hardships of love than feel it for herself. Besides, no one falls in love with a bookworm, that's clear in her novels.

Sure, she was asked out, but they were all very short. Her player of a father, was making them run off, threatening to remove their parts. It was annoying, really. He couldn't mind his own damn business. Then that one guy, the white-headed, red-eyed guy asked her out, she was instantly on the hate list of most of her female friends.

(I have nothing for this verse. Nothing comes to mind for me. Sorry!)

The day of the date, she was so nervous. She did things she normally ridiculed other girls for doing. She was a tomboy for crying out loud! Why was she being so tense? It was just a date, probably one that wouldn't last very long. Her hand was sweating, she didn't want to disgust him, and so hand holding was out.

He makes her happy, though sometimes he can be so infuriating. She gives him her Maka chops with affection. She tries desperately to keep it professionally, as the other weapon and meister partners do, but it's becoming challenging.

She can act normal around her other guy friends, but with him, I feels like an act. She can't sit still with him beside her. Why, oh why does he make it so difficult to be around?

She's so confused. She would rather fight a Kishin and die than be in love. At least with the Kishin, death is straightforward. The stress if their relationship is stressing her out. She enjoys his love, but he's beginning to think she's more conflicted than she appears.

Second date, more confusion on her part. She's still acting the same, just adding new accessories to her outfits. She's beginning to think true love is more conflicting than authors write in novels.

He's showing her there is more to life, than schoolwork and books. The danger and thrill of doing things her own way, still following orders but adding her own flair to it.

She's taking deeper breaths, as it helps with the new things she's trying. The burning feels good, she's learning to embrace it. He's changing her little by little, hanging out with friends more instead of locking herself in her room to study. She's changing him as well. Helping him to at least try and study and take schoolwork seriously. They're doing things at their own pace, taking bigger risks and usually successfully succeeding.

There love is strong and forever. Nothing can break them apart. Their souls are in perfect sync, the perfect and deadly combination to defeat anything thrown at them.

Probably my worst songfic (NOT A SONGFIC!) I think it's cuz of the song I chose. Oh well. I'll gladly accept any flames and comments. Thanks for reading!
