This is kind of mean. I know it is, but ending this prompt any other way didn't sit well with me...maybe on another prompt :-P
It all started with a kiss – hot, breathing, soft, pressing – and should've ended there – should've never begun – but neither of them could.
When she touched him – felt his wrist, his hand, the warmth emanating from him – it brought on an ache she hadn't known was there – in truth, she did, but without something to bring it forth, it was easier to ignore.
It wasn't love, but lust; desperation.
And he kissed herfirst.
She hadn't expected that, or maybe she had.
The thoughts in her mind were so conflicting but her body wantedthis – needed it, urgently.
She could've stopped after the first kiss – should've – but her hand was still holding his wrist and it would not break the connection – the need.
He obviously took it as a green light, and she never stopped him.
Putting her hands under his shirt, allowing her mouth to be seized again and kissing with little finesse – just hunger – she couldn't stop. When their shirts were torn off – she didn't even care about his wound and neither did he– her skin was officially on fire and God, Hobbes may be a criminal and an asshole, but his body was, well, more than fit for the task ahead.
No.
Her head brought her back from the haze – pulled her back from him– making her bump her butt on the counter, allowing some space between them.
They were both breathing hard – they both wanted this, whatever this was and wasn't – and her mind kept telling her all the reasons why she should stop, but she also had a full-view of the man before her – his bare chest– and the bulge in his pants.
Thinking went out the window then – out the door, out the ceiling, out every exit– when she let her hands unbuckle his belt and he picked her up, as if she weighed no more than his belt, and kissed her again and, this time, she had no intention of breaking the kiss.
This time, her body was burning and refused to allow anything – anything– to end this.
At least, not until she was rendered unconscious.
