Hey! Cereza101 here!
Just giving ya'll a warning that this story will not be my priority. This story will be updated when I feel like it honestly and whenever inspiration hits me. I wanted to do something with hilarity, Frozen, and Harry Potter. Of course there are going to be serious moments, but mostly about Elsa and a trek around the Wizarding World.
Hope ya'll enjoy!
A Series of Slytherin Events
Chapter One: What's in the Box?
"Elsa, you need to live a little! Take a vacation or something! Queens are allowed to have vacations aren't they?"
"Anna, I've already told you, I have to meet with the Duke of—"
"Don't you remember the old times?" Anna cleared her throat about to sing, "Do you wanna build a snowman? Come on Lets go and —"
Elsa immediately proceeded to shove a chocolate bar inside of Anna's mouth. Not wanting to hear that song after many repeats, so like any good sister, kept an enormous amount of chocolate in strategic places to distract Anna and hide.
"Mph!" Anna tried to speak through the chocolate but it was no use, the delicious treat was too rich and ended up eating instead of bothering her older sister. Elsa made her hasty escape and made her way to the other side of the palace walls. Destination? Her room.
Elsa slowly closed the door behind her as she leaned against the now locked door and glanced around the room, pushing herself away from the exit and walked to the balcony. It was summer in Arendelle and though the heat did not bother her people, it did bother the Ice Queen. The heat did not threaten her life, just made it very uncomfortable and tired her a bit. True she could just make Arendelle a place where it could always be winter, but food would go scarce, not many traders would come and generate supplies, sightseeing would decrease—all the factors would make Arendelle a place where none would want to live. She could not let her people starve just because she was a bit comfortable. The needs of many outweigh the want of one.
Elsa sighed as the scorching sun light beamed upon her pale skin when she stood on the balcony of her quarters. "Maybe Anna's right. I do need a bit of a vacation. It's only been a year since the incident with Hans and I'm stressing out a lot." The Queen turned and pondered about this vacation. Not completely sure if she should take some time off. She shook her head, "No, the world isn't going to rest just because you are. Don't slack off, I have a kingdom to run." She went back inside of her room and closed the balcony doors.
There was a loud bang at the door and went to open it. She whipped the door open and poked her head out to look left, then right. Nothing was there. One step out the door and her foot made contact with a box. Looking down, she noticed it was wrapped in a light blue colored paper with a black ribbon. There was a note in beautiful handwriting.
Do not be alarmed. Say my three names when you want an outing. Use me when you must contact your beloved ones. When you wish to return, use the Deathly Hallows to come back.
"What in the-? Anna! This better not be one of your jokes!" She lifted up the box along with the note and marched through the hall to find her little sister. Some of the guards were walking in Elsa's direction, saw her and immediately noticed their angry Queen leaving behind a trail of ice footprints on the ground. They immediately turned the back from where they came from while whistling trying to act casual. You know shit is going down when ice follows the Queen. Don't get in her way.
"ANNA!"
"Yes! My liege?" Anna's head popped out of the kitchen and smiled, but it faded as she saw Elsa with her arms crossed with a box in her left hand. "Uhhh…I didn't do it?"
"Mind explaining to me why you would bang on my door and leave this with a weird note to try and creep me out?"
"What? NO! I've been here the entire time with Olaf and—"Anna's eyes widened as she took a good look at the box. She whistled. "Man! Looks like someone has a secret admirer!" Anna swiped it from Elsa's arms and shook it almost like a kid would when trying to figure out what they got for Christmas. "Open it! Open it!"
Elsa kept her hands in front in a defensive positon with Anna lifting it to her face. "I don't know. If you didn't give it to me, who did?" Elsa eyed the package warily, knowing that the assassination attempt from Hans and the Duke of Weselton was not the only attempt on her life in the past year. She was glad she had her powers to keep her safe and able to keep it a secret from Anna. She had to even make Kristoff swear not to tell, as she was almost killed when Kristoff was present. Of course he disagreed, but Elsa wanted to keep Anna as innocent as she can, ever since she almost lost her.
"Come one! What's the worst that can happen?"
Elsa sighed and gave into her little sister's demands and opened the package. Undoing the ribbon and letting it fall to the floor as she lifted the lid. Anna peeked over her shoulder with a smile—followed by a frown. She reached in and pulled out a cloak. "Why would anyone want to give someone that they admire an old, tacky black cloak?" She put the cloak on and looked like it was swallowing her. "I don't think that your admirer knows much about style." Elsa and Anna looked inside the box again.
"It looks like he doesn't have much taste in gift giving either." Elsa said as she pulled out a long stick and a very small stone.
"What's the note say?"
Elsa gave the note to Anna and she read it. "That is creepy." Both felt an uneasy aura on the objects but did not voice it, for fear that it would be true.
"I wonder what it means by names."
"Do you think Grand Pabbie might know what it means?"
Elsa nodded, "I'm not sure, but I guess it doesn't hurt to make sure it's safe." Something in the Ice Queen's mind told her that it would give her an adventure of a lifetime, but it could not guarantee her safety. She put the three items back in the box and told Anna not to tell anyone about it as she left to go prepare with the Duke that she was supposed to meet with and go over economic opportunities and politics. "If this ends up being a joke, it just proves how little guards I have in the palace. If a trickster can sneak in, I'm sure that anyone can." Placing the box on the bed she stared at it. Looking at the note again, she noticed the message had changed with the same handwriting. Tick-tock, my Queen. Say my three names if you wish for the adventure of a lifetime.
"What the-?" There was a knock at the door.
"My Queen, the Duke has arrived. The meeting will begin in thirty minutes."
"Y-yes, thank you!" She yelled at the door with her gaze fixed on the message. The letters rearranged themselves and changed before her very eyes. Trying not to panic she took a step closer to her bed.
"The Deathly Hallows shall be the doom to whomever dare tries to steal these items. The Resurrection Stone brings back your loved ones. The Elder Wand makes the most powerful wizard. The Invisibility Cloak hides you, even from Death. P.S. Queen of Arendelle, you just said the three names out loud. I hope you have an adventure that is to die for. I knew you would take long, so I made up your mind for you. Truly, I hope we do not see each other for a very long time.
Sincerely,
Death
Blue eyes flickered away from her bed and turned behind her to see people bustling about at the end of a dark alleyway that surrounded Elsa to her left and right. Deep inside the alleyway no one noticed her as she observed the people wearing long black robes and the women with long black "witch hats". The atmosphere the people gave off was heavy and filled with magic. One thing was that, without a doubt, she was no longer in her castle. She turned around again and saw the box filled with the Deathly Hallows on the dirty ground, not her bed. She went to pick off the box from the ground as the tips of the light blue dress she was currently wearing got somewhat dirty. "Anna? Olaf?! Kristoff?" She held the box to her chest and looked around. No one replied back.
