Nightmares

Connor/O.C

Disclaim: I DO NOT Own Assassin's Creed or Connor, only my OC

Connor quietly snuck into the tent that he shared with his best friend, Alexandria (Alex). He looked to the right side of the tent and saw that she was sound asleep.

He moved quietly, because he did not want to wake her. She had been working so hard lately. She deserved some rest. He moved to the left side of the tent and quietly put down his weapons. He took off his outer robes, shirt and brown, leather worn boots; leaving him in his worn, wool pants. He settled into the bed and blew out the candle, leaving the room into total darkness.

He watched her as she slept. Her chest rising and falling under the fur pelt she used as a blanket. She was actually very peaceful when she was sleeping. She actually looked beautiful. She wasn't the same girl he met when he first came to Achilles to be trained. She had to grow up.

She had become a woman.

Connor shook his head and looked away from the sleeping beauty.

'What am I saying?'

He closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh.

'She is my best friend. She is not interested in me.'

He layed on his back.

He knew that his feelings for her were growing, but he just pushed them away.

He took a deep breath and fell into the darkness.

Alexandria woke up to the sound of soft panting. She looked, but couldn't see anything.

"Mother,"

She recognized that voice.

It was Connor!

She didn't know what was going on. She rose from her bed and carefully and quietly made her way to the other side of the tent.

She made out Connor's form on the bed. She sat on the edge of the bed.

"Mother, please, no!"

She realized that he was having a nightmare. It was a nightmare from his past. She layed on the bed with him and wrapped her arms around him. She rested her face in the crook of his neck.

"Connor, it's all right. It's just a nightmare. I'm right here. I won't leave you. I'll always be here for you."

Connor pants slowed down. He became more calm and he drifted into a peaceful sleep. She was about to get up, until his arms wrapped around her and he pulled her to him. She looked at him. He was so much more peaceful.

Achilles told her about what happened to his village, but he never told her what happened to her. She wanted to know, but she was not going to let him relive horrible, painful memories from the past.

She fell asleep right in her best friend's arms.

AssassinAlex0245: I love Assassin's Creed and I absolutely love Connor. He's my favorite Assassin.
