Rose was having trouble sleeping again. It always happened, especially when the day had been extremely dangerous. She got up off her bed, and headed straight for the library. She knew this was where the Doctor would be.
She walked through the halls, listening to the comforting sound of humming coming from the TARDIS. She really loved travelling with this man.
When she opened the door, she saw him reading a book, his glasses on the bridge of his nose. He was too busy in his book to even notice Rose there. He continued reading as Rose move to the lounge he was on, and sat down next to him. Her pinstriped Doctor turned his eyes towards her.
"Can't sleep?" He asked
"Yeah," She replied "Not like I really felt like it though."
"Ah, c'mon, it was just a planet filled with giant scorpions." He laughed
"Yeah, just giant scorpions. Thank god it wasn't giant butterflies." She replied sarcastically.
He laughed, putting his book on the table next to him, placing his glasses in his front pocket. He leaned over, and poked her in the side.
"You think you're so funny." He grinned
"Oh, I know it." She returned, with a smile greater than his.
He reached out and pulled her towards him. At first, it was a warm hug, but then he began tickling her. Rose laughed as she begged the Time Lord to stop, but the Doctor continued on.
After a while, they ended up laying down on the lounge together, facing each other. They were laying very close to each other, even for how friendly they usually were to each other. They held hands, and smiled quietly to each other. The TARDIS dimmed the lights.
"Thank you." Rose whispered
"No, thank you." He spoke back gently.
He leaned in, kissing her cheek. She giggled slightly, not saying anything as she kissed his. They continued the exchange of cheek kisses, until they slowly reached each-others mouths. The Doctor pressed his lips against Roses. They both pulled back for a second before kissing again. Neither of them said anything, but they just snuggled to get comfortable, and both the human and the Time Lord went to sleep.
I am so sorry this took so long! I was so sure that I uploaded it, and then my computer broke down! I had to go get it fixed and everything!
