He Will Live

In a world where Neville Longbottom is the boy who lived, darkness rises. How far can one boy descend into the abyss.

"Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you."
― Friedrich Nietzsche

Harry Potter was a boy who came upon a crossroads. It was only when he turned sixteen did he decide, descending into the darkness with only a matchbook to light his way.

The mark burned onto his arm and secrets on his lips he worked.

He stood his wand griped tightly in his hand as he stared at the man.

"Harry you're not this."

"No, that's where your wrong. I am this."

Neville couldn't move, he couldn't scream, all he could do was watch as Albus fell from the tower. Harry fled, his Death Eater comrades in toe.

When Nevil retold the story the silence was defining, the Potter couple shocked. How could their son do this?

It wasn't until the battle really started that the truth came to light. Neville Longbottom stood facing both Tom Riddle and Harry Potter, the two also facing him as well as echaother. Harry was working for himself.

It was Harry who ended Tom, who then turned on the boy who lived.

"Will you live?"

It was green.
