Silena hummed as she brushed her hair. Her hair rested in subtle waves, and her eyes glittered like the eye shadow she wore. Thick mascara made her eyes pop, and her lipstick matched her eye shadow. In short, she was as beautiful as Aphrodite herself.
"You ready?"
Silena turned to see Charlie standing in the doorway, fixing his tie summed up her flowing dress, her expensive jewelry, and the dusting of makeup on her oh-so-perfect face. He sighed.
Silena had never thought she'd seen Charlie so handsome! His silk suit matched with designer shoes. Oh, and his tie matched her dress!
"It depends," she replied, rising before giving a twirl. "How do I look?"
"Amazing," Charlie said, smiling at his fiancé. She frowned.
"Oh, are you sure?" She took out a compact and looked over her makeup. "I think I need more blush. And eye shadow."
"Silena," Charlie interrupted, fixing his gaze on the daughter of Aphrodite. "Let's just go, okay? You look like a goddess." Silena just simply rolled her eyes and strode past him to the living room. She grabbed her purse and shimmering shawl before heading out to the car. Charlie sighed once more. He loved Silena, but sometimes, he wished he could throw away all the makeup and designer clothes, and just see the beautiful all natural side of Silena everyday.
He grabbed the keys and closed the door, locking it before getting into the car.
"Charlie," Silena said softly. "Are you positive-"
"Silena!" Charlie groaned. "You look prettier than Aphrodite. And no, I'm not just saying that. Why can't you accept the fact that you're beautiful? You don't need makeup, and the latest fashions to prove that! You just need to be you. You're beautiful Silena. I will sing One Direction if I have to! You are stunning, and the most amazing woman I've ever met. I didn't ask you to marry you because you're beautiful on the outside. I mean, don't get me wrong, you are. No, I asked you to marry me because you're even more beautiful on the inside. Because your jokes are so lame, they're adorable. And your smile lights up the room. And your laugh-"
Charlie was interrupted by Silena leaning over and kissing him. They sat there for a moment, kissing passionately. When they broke apart, Silena grinned.
"I love you Charlie," she said, leaning her forehead on his.
"I love you too," he replied breathlessly.
"You wanna ditch the party as much as I do?" she questioned, eyes sparking with excitement.
"Probably more," Charlie said, beaming. They ran out of the car and back into their small house.
By the next morning, Silena's designer dress and Charlie's silk suit were in different locations around the house, crumpled after being hastily taken off.
Silena didn't care. She spent the next few days in baggy pants and oversized sweatshirts. She was beautiful on the inside, and that meant more than anything.
A/N: I saw this picture of Charlie and Silena and it was titled "You don't this to look beautiful" and I was like "Here come the feels!" so I wrote an adorable one-shot of Charlie being all "You beautiful girl!" and Silena being all "No, I'm not!" ... It's almost 2 in the morning, cut me some slack. From that night, twins were born and they were named Clarisse and Luke, because for some reason, in my head, I can see them naming their child Luke. I don't know, again, it's almost 2 in the morning, cut me some slack. Bye!
