A/N:  Okay… This is my first fic in a long, long while so it may be bad.  Consider yourself warned.

Disclaimer:  I do not, have not, or will ever own any of the Harry Potter characters.  If I did I wouldn't be sitting here at my old Hewlett Packard writing fanfiction!

It was late one Sunday night in June and someone decided to take a leisurely stroll along the bank of the lake located on the quiet, dark grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  That was the last thing that foolish person ever did-and perhaps the stupidest.  For the giant squid broke the smooth surface of the lake and reached out with its scaly tentacles to reach the poor defenseless student.  The student was strangled in a matter of one short second.

The squid had never acted so violently before, some go as far to say that it is as loveable as a puppy dog.  Obviously this was no longer the case with the large sea creature.  Maybe the squid has just been dealing with a lot of resentment for wizards in general since the release of J.K. Rowlings fifth novel, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, based on one famous young wizard.  (If you do not know who this wizard is you may well be retarded.  It would be best for you and your doctor to have a lengthy conversation about your less-than-satisfactory mental health.)  Anyway, I know many of you readers are confused about the violent tendencies of the playful giant squid lately.  It seems that the giant squid is not the only Harry Potter fan in outrage about the horrid event of the latest installment in the Harry Potter series.  Many of you have probably finally caught on to what I've been babbling about for the last two hundred or so words.  I, of course, mean the tragic death of our dear, old friend since the third novel, Sirius Black.  This series of brief stories about destruction in the Harry Potter universe will continue to go on until J.K. Rowling redeems herself in the sixth installment and/or explains and apologizes for the gruesome death of everyone's favorite godfather and lovable dog/wizard.  If I have the support for any other readers out there please review.  If I don't have your support, thank you anyway.

A/N:  Okay, for anyone who hasn't caught on, I'm a Sirius fan all the way, but I'm not that violent of a person.  Keep in mind that this piece of fiction is intended only to be taken in a humorous manner- not an insane, mad, crazy person manner.  LOL.  Hope it tickled your funny bone.
