Kyoya and Hikaru were sleeping on the couch, Ven was sleeping in her nursery and suddenly, she started to cry. Luckily, only Kyoya heard her so he placed Hikaru into a more comfortable position and approached his baby girl.

"What is it Ven? Why're you crying? Do you need a diaper change? Or are you hungry? If you are, you can forget it because mommy's sleeping."

When Ven heard her daddy talk, she stopped crying and held her arms out as a signal for her daddy to pick her up. Kyoya did so, brought her to the couch, placed her on his chest and started to ask her questions.

"When are you gonna start talking like Gingka's son Riku? His first word was food! What's your's gonna be!?"

Ven only started babbled and Kyoya decided to tickle her! That only made the infant laugh even more as Hikaru woke up.

"Sweetie, what time is it?" She asked, stretching her arms.

"Huh? Oh... It's midnight. Why?" He continued tickling his baby girl after he gave her an answer.

"Because I'm going to bed. When did Ven wake up?"

"A few seconds ago. Why?" He stopped tickling Ven for a moment.

"Because now we have to stay up with her! We can't sleep!" Hikaru looked rather forlorn at the fact that she wouldn't be able to sleep now as Venelope was looking quite hyper that night.

"That's ok! I love my little Ven! Plus she's always sleeping so let's take this time to play with her!"

"Ok baby!"

Ven stared at her parents and cooed as if she was saying, "Play? I wanna play! Dudes! I wanna plaaay!"

Kyoya and Hikaru entered their bedroom with Ven in Kyoya's right arm while the other arm around Hikaru's waist. They sat on the bed, leaning against the headboard and Kyoya placed Ven across his chest. She then squirmed about until her tiny limbs were all over him! Kyoya was just staring at her and Hikaru noticed it and asked, "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing bad but when is Ven gonna say somthing? Gingka's kid Riku already said something, why can't Ven?"

"Oh sweetie, every baby has it's own way and time so just give her time Kyoya!"

Kyoya and Hikaru were so deep in there conversation that they didn't notice Ven crying! Kyoya scooped her up and caressed her furry little head.

"Papa! Papa... Papa!"

She kept repeating it until Kyoya hugged her. Then, Hikaru saw Ven getting sleepy since she let out a jaw breaking yawn. Hikaru turned off the light and got Kyoya to hold Ven and her as they slept. Kyoya kissed Hikaru and Ven on the cheek as they settled down into bed.

"Kyoya sweetie, we have to go to my dad's house tomorrow," She whispered.

"What, tomorrow? Can we not go? Your dad hates me, he keeps hitting me and I can't do anything about it!"

"Just be your self and you'll be fine baby!"
