the politics of politics
he may be smart.
'cause,
he drinks sunshine out of superman cups
and runs around with his cape
he's got no clue what kryptonite is
and doesn't know it can hurt him
so when he hears the bell
everything crashes and burns;
the sunshine drips out of the cup
and he walks down the stage.

(we're all sure of it)
she's got coke on the floor
and wipes it with her hanky

listens to Adam Lambert and
engages in Political speak;
but she's just a child—
a little child who thinks too much
(and wants to win)
she's much too young.
