"S-Sammy?"
Sam looked over at his brother who sat heavy-lidded, blinking in the passenger seat. They were fresh from a trip to the ER. Dean's left side was a mess having suffered a dislocated thumb and index finger, a spiral fracture of his forearm, and a wrenched shoulder. He was patched up, drugged to the gills, and judging from his green tinge, nauseated as hell.
"Yeah, Dean?"
"Do you think butterflies are pretty?"
Sam did a double take.
Before he could reply, Dean muttered, "S-Sam, I-I think I-I'm gonna h—"
Vomit gushed from Dean's mouth, spattering against the windshield.
