"Living with no Sky"

What if there was no earth?
What if there was no sky?
If there was nothing-
There would still be you and I
Belonging to the sea, we're going down
Your eyes, owning emerald hues,
Glitter when you steal my soul with a kiss
While the saxophone plays my blues
There's a hole where my heart should be.
The same goes for us all
If you've been living, if you've been living
It hurts so much when you fall
Just clinging to a lover,
Much it will never do
I feel no warmth anymore-
That's why I'm leaving you
Why? There is no fire,
Burning at my hearth
I'm living without a sky,
Without the solid earth
Where has our love gone?
You and I have no hearts
Maybe it was never there,
We being only actors playing parts
Do you need a heart to love?
Or is it only a brain?
We've been living a lie…
Seeing sunshine when in rain
We've done much but this is it
You're hiding too much;
I can't take this shit
Why has the light abandoned me?
Why has the warmth lost its glow?
I still love you…
But you will never know
Nowadays just a kiss on the cheek
That's all I get
But we have done much more and
I have no regrets
A gift of lipstick yearns for a kiss,
A dress for an affair

Then what gift will bring back a love
That was never even there?
Can you feel what I'm feeling
Even if it's a chain of lies
If you really love me then…
TRUE LOVE NEVER DIES
