Smile for me? (If only once)
I smile up at your face
It was sudden but I knew it was love
Every single day I will say I Love you
You're my everything
Did you know that?
Your golden hair shines in the sunlight
You scold me for bouncing around and breaking something
But in the end I cuddle close to you
You wrap your arms around me
You kiss my forehead and say everything will be fine
I smile and you just grimace, you know it will happen again
I yawn and you hold me tighter
When my drooping eyes finally fall
I can see the faintest smile on that cold face
Then it's gone as I'm consumed by darkness
Smile for me? If only once…
Let me see that smile again
Please…
