Severus looked at Lily writing under their favorite tree. The fearful foursome had left a little while ago giving him the time to go and speak to her. He gulped nervously before steeling himself. He pulled the book he made her out and walked up to her before dropping it in her laugh awkwardly.
"Sev?! Why did you do that?!" She said annoyed at her crumpled page.
"Sorry, I...made you...that." He said before sitting down in a slump next to her. She calmed down slightly and picked it up. She opened the blank cover and smiled softly. It was a book of pressed lilies. She flipped through them slowly until she got to the end where a page was filled with his spikey script of 'The most beautiful of all though is...' and she turned the page. A mirror was the last piece causing her to break into a large smile. She could always trust Severus to be original and cute when making her things.
"Lily...will you go out with me?" He asked with a worried frown. She looked at the with a small smile and back up at him before giving a small nod. He broke out into a rarely seen grin and leaving over to place a gentle kiss on her lips. "I will do my best to make sure you always know how perfect you really are." He said causing her to smile larger. He was creative she had to hand him that, cheesy sometimes, but creative.
