You Thought You Could Hold Me?

(Really wanted to get this out before the 18th, but delays, anyway, tell me what you think in the reviews and whether or not I should continue this as an actual story)

"You think you can hold me?" Grindelwald spat at the Madam President.

"We'll do our best, Mr Grindelwald." She coolly replied as she stared him down with Aurors moving to take the bound fugitive back to MACUSA headquarters. The ICW would be pleased to hear the news, and once everyone could be recalled in the next few days, Grindelwald would stand trial for his crimes against Wizards and No-Maj's alike.

Grindelwald was carted past Newt Scamander, stopping to say a parting shot at him, thinking inside his head 'Beaten by a zookeeper and a disgraced Auror. I will have my revenge on you one day, Scamander.'

Grindelwald was carted up the stairs and apparated to MACUSA headquarters before being escorted to a holding cell. As the guards left him alone in the dark, Grindelwald smiled to himself. All those years pretending to be Graves, moving up the ranks here in America, he designed these cells. Even if he wasn't the most powerful wizard in the world, would a cell he designed hold him? Of course not. He smiled to himself in spite of his situation. Soon…soon he would be free.

As he lay on the cold stone floor that night, he heard a mutter from the corridor.

"He's in here."

"The would-be Dark Lord?"

"Grindelwald, the man who claims he will lead us to the light against the muggles."

"Pah, he's a terrorist, we're in secret for our safety, remember?"

Grindelwald listened as the two strangers approached towards his cell and decided to feign sleep until he could be certain of their intent. As they approached he noticed one of them was wearing a familiar looking pendant…the mark of the Hallows! A follower!

"Should be over here, shouldn't he? Time for his questioning?" the second voice stated.

"Actually….AVADA KEDAVRA!" the first voice yelled, a green light snuffing out his companion in seconds. He moved over to the door and with a quick Alohamora, he freed Grindelwald.

"My Lord, the time has come to get you to safety." He intoned, dipping his head in respect to Grindelwald, and drawing a wand from his pocket. The Elder Wand. Grindelwald smirked at the disciple.

"You have done well."

Grindelwald examined the wand for a few more moments before turning to his disciple, head still bent.

"You have done well, but the secret of my possession of this wand must remain just that, a secret. Avada Kedavra!" Grindelwald cried, pointing the Elder wand at the disciple, watching the life leave the man in a rush of emerald, as the body crashed to the ground, he gave it a single glance before turning and marching down the corridor, towards the exit and to continue to the next stage of his war against the muggles.

As Grindelwald approached the exit, he saw Aurors rushing towards his position and people screamed when they realised just whom had appeared in their midst.

"I did tell you, Master Aurors, you would not hold me." He grinned before raising his wand and blasting everyone backwards with a blast of power. As everyone was thrown into the air, Grindelwald disapparated with a pop, heading back towards Europe and the continuation of his war. He may have lost America, but with this show of power, they would soon learn to stay out of his war, or feel his wrath.
