Prologue: The year is 2576. 3 years after the end of the Human-Covenant war a new spartan program was started to assist in destroying any remaining factions of the covenant. These were the Spartan IV's. Standing at 7'3", these Spartans are able to single handily take down any vehicle with full motion sensors able to notice any stealth targets with ease. Unfortunately they were only expected to use the systems the old covenant used. During the first mission on a CCS-class Battlecruiser, an ambush occurred and except for one member the entire team was slaughtered. A message was sent to the UNSC where this ship contained advanced weapons and had formed a new alliance named the Harbingers. Ruled by the councel of 3, the harbingers had an army of over 7,000,000,000 and were growing daily. With the help of the Sanghelli and a new race of alien beings called the Zafros, human sized humanoids that appeared as a cross between goblins and orcs, a war had began that many called the apocalypse of men and those who apposed the harbingers. This is the story of a team of spartan IV's dubbed Crimson team, or more specifically Spartan 36.
