Another day without Therese went by for Carol, she was so unhappy trying to live this lie to have a relationship with her daughter. It had been a few weeks since Therese had called and Carol's heart had been empty, and depressed. In order to see her daughter she would have to change who she really was to be able to be in order to see Rindy. She was seeing a psychotherapist that was apparently meant to change her ways. What no one really knew is that at these sessions they were monitoring Carol's brain, giving her painful ECT, and all sorts of medicine so she would change back to a heterosexual lifestyle. Carol's life was dull, and lifeless. The only time she was happy was when she saw her daughter, the light of her life. Notching could help Carol, she couldn't change, you can't change the way you feel. Carol loved Therese, every time she thought of her a smile appeared on her face. Sitting at home alone one night Carol was trapped in her own thoughts. She couldn't fight it anymore. She loved Rindy but she loved Therese also. Sitting in a office with her own lawyer, Harge and Harge's lawyer, constant fighting, and yelling at each other was the final straw for Carol. She then knew what she had to do. Sitting at the Oak Room after seeing Therese for the first time in ages, and being turned down Carol tried to get caught up in a conversation with her friends. She couldn't bear to think about not being with Therese again. Looking up for a moment she noticed the woman of her dreams standing right there before her, and was finally happy again.
