Power in the right hands

When power is in the wrong hands, it causes corruption, destruction, pain and suffering. All in the name of Greed, be it for more power, or wealth or both. But when power is put in the hands of the worthy, the ones who do not want the responsibility but will take it if they must... Then and only then will the world become a peaceful place.

It was raining...

A child no older then 4 years was crying in an alley.

Naruto, had been recently kicked out of the orphanage only to find a mob waiting to beat him to death as soon as the doors of the orphanage closed behind him.

DEMON! MONSTER! MURDERER! BEAST! DEVIL!

The names they called him accusing him of crimes he did not commit.

He somehow always survived the ruthless beatings. Waking up the next day without any injuries in the hospital.

His "jiji" or surogate grandfather who happens to be the Hokage was sitting next to him.

"Jiji!" shouted Naruto as he jumped off the bed into the arms of the Hokage.

"I'm sorry Naruto.. I'm so sorry" said Sarutobi tears running down from his eyes.

"Why are you crying Jiji? You didn't hit me, those bad men did, please don't cry"

"I wish I could do more for you Naruto"

"You do enough Jiji! You protect me and give me a home! and that's more then enough for me" said the naive innocent child that was Naruto

Heh, If I truly gave you what you deserved you wouldn't need my protection, this foolish village will one day pay for

it's crimes against you Naruto. I am sorry Minato but it seems our faith was misplaced in a people who bow to emotion

and throw away logic and reason thought Hiruzen.

Then suddenly an idea popped into his head

"Naruto"

"Yes Jiji?"

How would you like my grand-daughter konihamutara?

"She's nice, and pretty, but I don't know her that well. Why Jiji?"

"Would you like to marry her and join our clan?"

"Really Jiji?!"

"Yes Naruto, and you can move in with us and I'll even train you to be a ninja" Darn it, I can't believe I never thought of

this, oh Naruto this old fool truly doesn't deserve your love and respect.

"Now Naruto, let's go home"

Home? I'm going to have a home? thought Naruto while his eyes became teary,

"Home... let's go Jiji let's go home..."

Just an idea, really didn't think it up, don't know what I plan to do with this story maybe I'll work on it If I get any good

ideas or If any reviewers can help me with it, because honestly I don't know where I am going with this story.
