A/N:...Firstly don't kill me and secondly i came up with this as I was about to go to sleep and that's the moment when I am not normal...well less normal than I already am. a´And prepare yourselves for some randomness.
So everyone knows that some movies or books at a certain scene make you cry your heart out and feel some damn big feels. So when you read ''The fault in our stars'' of course you will cry and immediately fall in love with the book. It isn't unnatural. Even if you see the toughest person in the whole wide world would ball their eyes out.
BUT,
even though it isn't that unnatural, Buttercup was still in awe when she found Butch, of all people, curled up in the corner reading ''The fault in our stars'' and crying his forest green eyes out. Buttercup stood there for a good 5 minutes digesting what she was seeing carefully, just to make sure she was not hallucinating. Her voice was got in her throat and her lime green eyes fixed on the ruff reading a BOOK. It's not that the fact that Butch is crying is shocking him (well it is but you know what I mean, right?) it's more like the fact that his actually READING a BOOK. A BOOK.
When she finally found her voice she managed to ask the question in all of our minds '' Butch, why are you reading? In a corner non the less?''
By the reaction he showed, he probably didn't know she was even in his room. Butch stood up in a flash, turning his back to her and drying his eyes with the sleeve of his jumper. His eyes were red and puffy from crying and cheeks red. ' Probably from crying and embarrassment..'
''I-it's this book.'' Butch said pointing at the book. Buttercup rolled her eyes and giving him a look that clearly said ' You don't think I can see that, asshole? I wanna know why you were reading it.', the green ruff just sighed and shot her a glare.'' I found this in Brick's room, who apparently got it from Blossom, who got it from Bubbles who got it from Boomer...I knew he was a fuss but to this extent..''
''Says the one who was just in the corner crying his eyes out.'' The raven headed puff shot back smirking all the way. ''So how's the book?''
By now the two greens were on the bed the book in hand and the waterworks were on once more. They had just finished it and this might have been the first and probably the last book they have ever read, and it may have left a mark on their hearts.
''Hey*sniff* I-I heard *sniff* there's even a movie about it..'' Buttercup said as she rubbed her nose and sniffed again. Butch and Buttercup gave one another a knowing look and took out butches laptop. And prepared themselves for one hell of a ride of feels. ONE HELL OF A RIDE OF FEELS.
