I do NOT own Pandora Hearts.

Part of the 101 themes Challenge that I occasionally write... When I feel like it.
I just got this idea ages ago (it's been up in Quizilla for a long time) and had to write it, but I spent a lot of time wondering whether I should use a character from Pandora Hearts or do reader insert (which I don't really want to do, since I feel uncomfortable writing that way)... so I decided not to elaborate at all. So you can imagine whoever you want. Remember to drop a review!

What a horrible day it was. She disliked big social gatherings where people approached her from left and right, smiling their fake smiles and asking questions just because it was the polite thing to do. Bows, fake smiles and empty words.

Then again, she knew for a fact that most other people hated it just as much as she did. Why would people still have such gatherings, remained a mystery to her.

She was more than glad that it was over and she could finally get her evening tea (thought it was very far to the night).

Sighing with a mirthless smile, she poured the hot water to a teacup, picked up a biscuit, and walked over to the kitchen cupboard, in order to get the teabags.

Upon opening the closed door, she came face to face with a single red eye framed by a bed of white hair. Break, crouching inside the closet, had a wide smile as bright as the sun, holding the pack of teabags on his hand.

"Here you go, little miss~!"

Screaming, she tried to slam the door on Break's face and make a run for it, but the man merely smiled further (shivers went down her spine), grabbed her arm and promptly pulled her inside the darkness of the cupboard with him.

"Gotcha!"

Despite things looking grim for her, she idly noticed that his was the first genuine smile she had seen that day.
Creepy and completely lacking in good intentions… but genuine, nonetheless.

You can find the themes from my profile! Suggest a character or a theme if you want to. I'll see what I can do. Of course, if I get a better idea for a theme on my own, I'll probably just write that... but suggesting never hurts. You might inspire me to write.
