Quill
He was watching her as she sat and fervently scribbled on the parchment in front of her, trying to hurriedly finish the Charms essay that she had, for once, forgotten to do the night before. Hermione kept sighing and looking up at him, daring him to stop watching her. But he wouldn't. He just kept staring, a slight smile playing on his lips.
It happened when she thumbed through a book, trying to figure out the effects of a Snuffalog Charm. Her quill rested behind her ear, some of her hair tucked into the same place to keep it from getting in the way. Suddenly, she felt his warm fingers pulling the quill from its place, and she looked up at him, trying to figure out what it was he was doing.
Harry held the quill and watched it for several seconds until he leaned down and kissed the quill all over. Hermione couldn't help but wonder how it would feel to be that quill. She blushed fervently as he looked up at her, smirked and stuck the quill back behind her ear where it had been to start out. Harry stood, gathered his things and left the library for the common room. At the door, he turned and waved slightly, still grinning at her in the special way that never failed to make her melt. She smiled back before pulling the quill back out and kissing it softly exactly where his lips had been.
Cheesy, huh? No matter. I know from some reviews that a couple of you like cheesy stories, which is great by me. Please, review. It takes like...20 seconds, and would mean a lot to me.
