In New Domino City it was once a place you can find a collection of conflict you've ever seen in your eyes between the poor and the wealthy but many years later the conflicts were resolved thanks to a hero who strived his life to make the city a better place Yusei Fudo. He forged bonds across cities and even through time. Thanks to his bonds he forged he made many friends who were Bruno, Jack Atlas, Crow Hogan, Akiza, and many more who he cherished to heart. Thanks to his friends who supported him through journey Yusei was be able to unite the poor and the wealthy people of Neo Domino City from their conflict to work as one team. But one dark day Yusei was killed along with his wife Akiza whom he married 2 years later after the defeat of the lliaster after a explosion in their own home. Yusei was later announced dead after a hour to the people whom he cared all his life leaving them strucked with grief especially his close friends. There was one baby who was there of the incident named Yugo where they died many rumors has it he's a cursed child that would bring destruction to New Domino City or even death itself but there are a few who knew his origin. They all decided to keep to his origin away from the people because of this the public considered Yugo a cursed child. One of the people who knew highly disagree and is completely dissatisfied with the decision to keep Yugo origin hidden believing the public should know Yugo origin. As the person who highly disagree with decision to masked Yugo origin. The person didn't reveal anything about him in response the person burned his bridges with those people he was no other than the Duel king himself Jack Atlas.
7 years later Yugo pov
Being a outcast for my whole 7 years of my life in a orphanage I often wished I had a family but I know I will have no family since I'm considered a cursed child. Even when I tried to talk to others it usually a one sided conservation no one pays attention to me either that they would try to bullied me. Then I would head into a lot of fights. As I was laying on my bed staring at my Jack Atlas poster I hunged on my wall it gives me hope that one day once I beat Jack Atlas I will finally be acknowledged by the people of New Domino City and no longer be a outcast. I currently only have one friend who is Kaito Tenjo he's like a older brother to me. He's only one who would come up to me and talk to me as I was a real person. Besides that Kaito taught me how to duel using Synchro summoning though he doesn't use it and his favorite summoning methods his Xyz summoning. I swear one day I will pay back Kaito for all of the things he done for me I won't go back on my word.
I grabbed my Clear Wing Synchro dragon out of my pocket and say to myself sometimes "Who are my parents? Why am I a cursed child? Should I even exist for that matter?" Though I asked myself this I will never commit suicide it's crazy. As long as I have breath in this body I will continue to live my life to the fullest.
"Hey Yugo I have your dinner here I brought it up for you," I hear Kaito knocked on my door.
"Thanks Kaito," I opened my door taking my tray of dinner.
"No problem Yugo," Kaito said. "Mind if I can come in Yugo. After all you are like my younger brother since my younger brother passed away a couple years ago. Another thing is you were there for me when he passed on you have a heart of gold. In my eyes you're not a cursed child."
"Thanks Kaito I needed that," I welcomed him into my flithy room. I wished I cleaned it I hope he doesn't mind too much I scratched my head.
I always wondered why Kaito wanted to be my friend despite what everyone says "Hey Kaito why did you want to become my friend?" Out of curiosity.
Kaito looked over to me and smiled "Well Yugo like I said you remind me of my younger brother. Besides that you were all alone I believe no one should be treated like that to see you all alone with no friends it's heartbreaking for me see it. I will always be there for you when you need it Yugo."
"You know Kaito once I beat Jack I will pay you back for everything you've done for me I promised I won't go back on word," I smashed my fists together.
"There's no need to pay me back Yugo as long as you are happy then I'm happy you don't need to win. Don't force yourself to win what am I saying there's no stopping from you defeating Jack is there. If that's the case I really appreciate it but just remember to have fun," Kaito said. "I know once you put your mind into something you will achieve it I will be rooting for you when the time comes."
"Thanks Kaito I will dominate Jack and surpass him," I finished eating my dinner on my tray. "Oh thank you for dinner that was delicious ever thought of competing in the MasterChef Kaito I think you would win."
Kaito smirked at me Yugo though I'm a decent cook I won't be competing in MasterChef I won't win. I'm telling you there are a lot of good cooks out there better than me but thanks. Here give me your tray I will take it downstairs and washed it for you."
"Thanks Kaito," I handed Kaito my tray and watched him leave my room to clean my tray. I closed my eyes thinking of a bright future once I can have my own family and be finally acknowledge by the people of New Domino City.
4 hours later
After Kaito finished cleaning my tray we hanged out for a couple of hours before he left we were dueling with me winning since he lets me though claiming he went all out I can tell it's lie but I understand why he says that to boost my self esteem. As I was laying on bed I always pray every night to have family one day and be acknowledged not as cursed child anymore. After praying I usually fall asleep dreaming of great things that would appear before once I achieved but this dream i was having was different this time.
In the dream I waked in a place out of nowhere as if I'm traveling in between worlds. I saw a huge light beaming at me in my dreams I cover my eyes to block some if the light until started to fade I saw a large orange and redish dragon flying over to me I asked "What do you want and what are you?"
In response the dragon started communicating with me I understood every word what the dragon said to me I realized it was Crimson dragon I was completely speechless because I know the hero Yusei Fudo used its power to bring peace. A moment later speaking with the Crimson dragon I noticed a mark glowing on my back then at the moment I knew I became a signer from all the stories Kaito told me about. As time passes by speaking with the Crimson dragon made me really comfortable it's as if the dragon was my father. When the time came where the Crimson dragon and I part ways it reveal to me once I wake up a huge surprise awaits for me I had no idea whatever it was it definitely got me hyped up once I wake up. Slowly as time passed I started to fade from my dreams I recognized I started to wake up I was really excited what the Crimson Dragon had instored for me.
As I finally wake up stretching my eyes widen I noticed I was on a couch in someone house where it looks like a wealthy person would owned. I quickly grabbed my Clear Wing out of my pocket hoping it would tell me something but it didn't.
"Where am I? Am I still dreaming that can't be possible ugh where am i?" I asked myself as I explored around I see a pole from upstairs that leads to where I am downstairs. I also saw a poster of someone with entertainment dueling I was completely nervous and speechless I hope I don't get in trouble with secruity big time but I knew this I needed to head back home to the orphanage and the only way is let secruity take me back or asked the people here to take me back I hope they are nice.
"Well there's one way to find out," I whispered to myself. Before I can say a word a boy my age with red and green hair along with red crimison eyes came up behind me yawning saying "Is it me or I have doppelganger or I'm just dreaming."
I recognized he had the same face as me I questioned "Hey how do you have the same face as me?"
"I can say the same thing. Who are you? I'm Yuya Sakaki it's nice to meet you," Yuya replied back to me.
"Yuya Sakaki?" I asked myself. I never heard a person named like but after all im a outcast so I dont know too much I sighed "Well Yuya My name is Yugo don't forget it."
