Hello everyone. Welcome to the new version of Isis's Legacy. I realised how horrible it was and now, I am making it better! I have lost a great amount of interest in Spyro, but I made a promise to myself: Make any of my old stories better. So now, here I am again, rewriting this old story. But I know that there will still be many errors. I hope that there won't be too many comments on grammar.
I do not own Spyro. I only own Isis.
ON TO THE STORY! Which starts at the ending of the Dawn of the Dragon game.
Prologue: The End of the World
Normal POV:
The Dark Master, Malefor, hovered in the air. His yellow eyes glared at the two dragons before him. His voice echoed with an evil tint as he spoke. "You cannot defeat me, I AM ETERNAL!" A bright beam of purple shot out of his mouth and headed straight for the two, Spyro the purple dragon and Cynder the black dragon. Two similar beams shot out of their own mouths and the beams collided halfway.
"Just.. hang.. on!" Spyro spoke, the pressure of defeating Malefor showing within his voice. Both himself and Cynder put as much effort as they could into their final "attack" as they started to overcome the evil dragon.
Soon, Malefor was pushed back and he slid along the purple ground. He looked around as transparent dragons rose out of the ground in a circle around him. They rose into the air, glowing. "What is this?" he asked, to no one in particular. Fear was present in his voice. The transparent dragons rushed down at him. One by one, they disappeared into the ground, Malefor going down with them. "NOOOOO!" Then he was gone.
The other two dragons hovered, success glinting in their eyes for a moment before vanishing. The world was still falling apart around them. It wasn't over yet.
They landed and the female, Cynder, spoke. "Spyro, I'm sorry... I'm so sorry."
"Don't be, it's over now."
"So this is it?"
Spyro's eyes closed. He could hear a voice in his mind and it was very familiar. "Spyro. When a dragon dies he does not truly leave this world. His spirit lives on, binding itself in nature, offering hope for the future." The was gone after that last statement.
Spyro's eyes then opened. "I know what I need to do. Just get out of here, Cynder."
"Spyro, no. You don't have to do anything. Let's just go."
"Where, Cynder? There'll be nothing left. The world is breaking apart. But I think I can stop it. I think I'm meant to."
"Then I'm with you."
Spyro then glowed a brilliant white, rising into the air as Cynder whispered "I love you". Then, the broken world was repaired.
But this doesn't even begin to describe the adventure awaiting the two.
