Hi! I'm looking for a Harry Potter fanfic named A new/old life or beginning. I can't remember the title but Harry had gone back in time courtesy of Death and Death also turned her into a girl. Harry notices he's a girl when someone passing by whistles and he catches his reflection from a store window or some mirrored surface. When Death was asked why Harry was turned into a girl, Death's reply was that Harry looked nice as a girl. The story takes place during Tom Riddle's time period and the pairing is Female Harry and Tom Riddle. Death tells his story of turning Harry into a girl (to the reader) during his regular time because he knew that the Dursley's would be much harsher on Harry if he was female and the Mistress of Death needed to be pure. Harry's last name is Peverell and during the last few chapters posted, she was kidnapped by someone who she thought was her friend during a party (probably Slughorn's). Tom and Harry were already friendly with each other and Tom found Harry's pearl necklace left behind. Female Harry is brought to Grindelwald since Grindelwald was obsessed with the Deathly Hallows. The person who kidnapped female Harry (I forgot her name) was loyal to Grindelwald and was said to be similar to how Bellatrix was to Lord Voldemort. Harry responds to Grindelwald's statement of how she is the last of the Peverell line by saying that there are other lines that are descended from the Peverell's such as the Potters and another line (that I forgot). Female Harry uses the magic given or granted by Death to defeat the people holding her hostage with Tom and Dumbledore bursting into the room to see it happen. Afterwards Grindelwald tells Dumbledore that he wouldn't go up against the Mistress of Death. That's all I remember. The cover image is a shirtless man (Tom Riddle, I think?). I'm not sure if the fanfic was erased yet. Can anyone help me find it? Thank you!
